What number does Ding stand for?

This branch does not represent a number, and the order is 34.

According to Wei Zi Huang Li, Ding You is one of the main branches, the former is Shen Bing and the latter is the Reform Movement of 1898. The 34th year of a cycle in China traditional calendar year is called "Ding You Year".

In each calendar year, if the number of years is divided by more than 60 and 37, or the number of years is reduced by 3, the remainder of division by 10 is 4, and the remainder of division by 12 is 10. The years from the first day of the first month of that year to the New Year's Eve of the following year were all "Ding Younian".

Ten heavenly stems and twelve earthly branches are matched in turn to form sixty basic units, forming a sixty-week calendar. Ten days' work is A, B, C, D, E, G, Xin, Ren and Gui. The twelve earthly branches are Zi, Ugliness, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu and Hai.
