The chronology of Sixty Jiazi is relative to that of A.D.
Divide the calendar year (Gregorian calendar year) by the remainder of 60 minus 3 to get the serial number of the monthly branch of that year, and then look at the table below to get the age of the monthly branch. If the serial number is less than or equal to zero, add 60 to the serial number of the main branch.
For example, 1929 is the lunar year, 1930 is the lunar year, and 1989 is the lunar year. The four years and Gengwu years we see on the calendar are arranged according to the chronology of cadres and branches. For example, to find the trunk and branches of 199 1 year:1991÷ 60 = 33+01,and the annual trunk and branch serial number =1/kloc-0. Check the list of cadres and branches, and you will know that this year is the year of Wei Xin. For another example, find the main branch of 1983: 1983÷60=33+3, and the main branch serial number =3-3=0, plus 60. Check the main branch table and know that the year is the year of Guihai.
The main branch table is as follows:
60-year-old Jiazi is an ancient invention of China people, also known as 60-year-old Jiazi. Its oldest uses are calendar year, calendar month, calendar day and calendar time. Calendar year is a 60-year cycle, calendar month is a 5-year cycle, calendar day is a 60-day cycle, and calendar time is a 5-day cycle.
Sixty Jiazi also refers to the sixty stars gods in Taoist belief _ that is, sixty immortals on duty every day. Call these gods by heavenly stems and earthly branches's matching names.
Who is the inventor of cadre branch discipline? Although there are several statements that can verify the origin of the main branch, who invented it? When did it first appear? This is always a mystery. It is said that the inventor of heavenly stems and earthly branches was a troublemaker in the ancient Xuanyuan period four or five thousand years ago. Archaeological findings show that in the late Shang Dynasty, Di Yi (the 30th king of Shang Dynasty) carved 60 complete jiazi on an Oracle bone, which may be the calendar at that time. This also shows that in the Shang Dynasty, the chronology of cadres and branches was already used.
According to textual research, there was a solar eclipse in Lu Yingong during the Spring and Autumn Period (February 10 BC). This is the exact evidence of China's use of Ganzhi Chronology, which was the first year of the Emperor's reign.
