What is an ICS service?

ICS is the abbreviation of Internet connection sharing, which is an Internet connection sharing service provided by Windows system for home network or small intranet. Actually, it is equivalent to a network address translator. The so-called network address converter can convert the IP address and TCP/UCP port and other address information in the packet when forwarding it. Through the network address converter, computers in the home network or small office network can use private addresses, and through the network address converter, private addresses can be converted into a single public IP address assigned by ISP, thus realizing the connection with the Internet. ICS mode is also called internet conversion connection.
