Historical and Cultural Street in yangqiao Ancient Town

Yangqiao Laojie (Ancient Town) Block, also known as yangqiao Historical and Cultural Block, is located on the Xili River in the northwest of Caoqiao Bridge in Huang Zhen and southwest of Yuncun Village in Wujin District. Its protection scope is: east of Dingjiatang18m, south of Zhangxianbang at least18m, west of Guanyin Bang at least10m, and north of Muzhai Courtyard at least 65,438m. Yangqiao Old Street Block is a historical and cultural area with the commercial old street around the ancient Nanyang Bridge as the core and Yangqiaobang (also known as Zhangxianbang) as the extension, which is rich in architectural remains and relics of Ming and Qing Dynasties, cultural landscape and revolutionary struggle history. The villages in this area are concentrated and densely populated, including Zhuang Ji Village, Qianzhujiatang, Houzhujiatang, Dujiatang and Dingjiatang 10 natural villages.

There are many rivers and streams in the territory, including yangqiao Bang, Zhujiabang, Dujiabang, Guanyin Bang and Xinjiebang. There are many classical and modern bridges with different shapes, such as South yangqiao, Zhuang Ji Bridge, Hongqiao, Taiping Bridge (also known as Xie Qiao), East yangqiao, New yangqiao, New Hongqiao and New Taiping Bridge.
