The warehouse filling festival, also known as the "Tiancang Festival", is divided into small warehouse filling and large warehouse filling, which are the 20th and 25th of the first month respectively. According to the old saying of our ancestors, the 20th day of the first month is to offer sacrifices to summer grain, and the 25th day of the first month is to offer sacrifices to autumn grain.

In the traditional warehouse filling festival, people use plant ash to draw a three-layer circle in the yard to represent the granary, then put the whole grains in the middle, press them with tiles, that is, fill the warehouse, and then set off firecrackers outside the circle, that is, fry the warehouse. These customs and activities are aimed at enriching the grain depot and praying for a bumper harvest. This is an external warehouse.
