What is 2024?

2024 is the year of Jiazi in China, the year of Wu Jia in the Gregorian calendar and the leap year in the Gregorian calendar.

Lunar calendar is a traditional calendar in China, and its year is based on the combination of heavenly stems and earthly branches and the zodiac. The year of Jiazi was the first union of heavenly stems and earthly branches. According to the laws of the lunar calendar, there is a cycle every twelve years, and the year in each cycle is represented by the alternating combination of the zodiac and the ten-day trunk.

In 2024, there was no leap month in the Year of the Loong, which was the fifth year and the second leap year in the 1920s. Judging from the fleeting heavenly stems and earthly branches, the year 2024 of the lunar calendar is Chen Jia the Year of the Loong. Heavenly stems and earthly branches is a tree of five behaviors, the earth branch refers to the dragon, and the five behaviors refer to the earth. Because Tianganjia belongs to wood, it is called the Year of the Loong in 2024, and its color is green, so it is called the Year of the Loong in 2024. According to the Gospel, the year 2024 of the lunar calendar is the year of Buddha's light and fire, and the five elements of heaven and earth belong to fire.

Heavenly stems and earthly branches order:

In a Jiazi annual cycle, it is Jiazi, Yechou, Bingyin, Ding Mao, Chen Wu, Keith, Wu Geng, Xin Wei, Ren Shen, Gui You, JOE and Yihai in turn. Gregorian calendar is a calendar based on the solar calendar year, which measures the number of years by the time it takes for the earth to revolve around the sun continuously, which conforms to the laws of biology and natural environment.

Wu Jianian is one of the years marked by the Gregorian calendar in the western calendar, and it is also one of the years with a cycle of 60 years in heavenly stems and earthly branches. They are Jiazi, Yechou, Bingyin, Ding Mao, Chen Wu, Keith, Wu Geng, Xinxu, Renshen, Gui You, JOE, Yihai, Bingzi, Ding Chou, Wuyin and Jimao.

Therefore, Jiazi Year and Wu Jianian are two different time systems, and there is no direct connection between them. They are independent for two years. Jiazi year is the Jiazi year of the lunar calendar, and Wu Jianian is the Wu Jianian of the Gregorian calendar.
