Hui culture, namely Huizhou culture, includes Xin 'an Neo-Confucianism, Xin 'an Annals, Xin 'an Medicine, Xin 'an Architecture, Xin 'an Pu Xue, Xin 'an Education, Xin 'an Painting School, Xin 'an Art and Literature, Xin 'an Technology, Xin 'an Craft, Four Treasures of the Study and Hui Cuisine. Huizhou is the emblem and Shexian is the government, including Shexian, Jixi, yi county, Qimen, Xiuning and Wuyuan, which were called Zhou She and Xin 'an in ancient times.
Huizhou culture is the sum of material wealth and spiritual wealth created by Huizhou people in the historical process. The cultural level of artifacts, systems and spirits is profound and prominent. Since ancient times, talents have come forth in large numbers in Xin 'an, and Huizhou culture is a historical phenomenon.
There are three great scholars: Zhu Zi (Wuyuan), Dai Zhen (Xiuning) and Hu Shi (Jixi). Zhu Sheng, Cheng Dawei, Zheng, Cheng Jinfang, Tao Xingzhi, Sai Jinhua, etc. There is a stream at the foot of Huangshan Mountain-Jiulong Waterfall, with three champions and three prime ministers, namely Cheng Yuanfeng, Cao and Cao Zhenyong, forming a prominent cultural ditch.
At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the Western Jin Dynasty, the Tang Dynasty and the Northern Song Dynasty, the four northern strong ethnic groups moved south, bringing advanced production technology and Central Plains culture, and the productivity gradually developed. Hui culture is the inclusive integration of Central Plains culture. Huizhou culture, as a distinctive regional culture, rose at the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, and "Southeast Zou Lu, the land of propriety and righteousness" flourished in the Southern Song Dynasty, lasting about 800 years. After 1990s, Huizhou studies, Tibetan studies and Dunhuang studies were listed as the three local disciplines of Chinese studies.
Scholars began to study Huizhou in the 1930s. In 1980s, the concept of "Huizhou Studies" was extensive, with scientific research and specialized institutions. After 1990s, the study of Huizhou culture entered a new stage. Huizhou studies, Dunhuang studies and Tibetan studies are listed as the three major local disciplines of Chinese studies. Hui culture is a pocket version of the new stage of Yanhuang culture, which is precipitated by China's traditional Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism.
