The Historical Evolution of Liucun Town

Liucun Township is an old revolutionary base area. During the Anti-Japanese War, it was an anti-Japanese base area in the sand area of Hebei-Shandong-Henan border region, and was placed under the third district of Gaoling County. 1949, Gaoling County was revoked as the sixth district of Neihuang County. 1957 established six district-level towns and villages. There are 6 villages in China, and the township government offices are located in Liu Mu Village, hence the name. 1958 established Liu Cun dongfanghong commune, 1983 changed to Liu Cun township. 1997, with an area of 63 square kilometers and a population of 28,000, governs Taiping Village, Hua Qian Village, Zhonghua Village, Houhua Village, Liu Mu Village, Liujiao Village, Liu Dai Village, Chenliu Village, Liu Yuan Village, Beiliu Village, Xuecun Village, Zhangsang Village, Guosang Village, Yangsang Village, Broken Car Mouth, Wenxinggu Village, and Yangsang Village.
