First, offer sacrifices to God.

In the ceremony of putting on the beam, through the role of the beam, it connects the temple building itself, heaven and earth, the relationship between god and man.

Sacrifice to the gods before climbing the beam, prepare red candles, hair ornaments and five sacrifices. The carpenter on the beam must worship the beam first, and pray for the three generations of ancestors of Yanfutang, the landlords of the Three Realms, Master Lu Ban, the God of the beam and other gods to be the masters. After inviting the gods, the host will click the two ends of the beam with a brush, and then lift the beam in the direction of the left Qinglong and the right White Tiger in the temple, which will be operated by the big wood owner and his assistant. In the noisy shouts and waves of the crowd, beams are connected to the roof, which is called "going to the hole", then firecrackers are set off and gold is burned, and the ceremony is completed.

According to the folk saying, the rain on the beam is also called pouring the beam. As the saying goes, "a thousand dollars can't buy rain on the beam" and "money can't buy rain on the beam", so it is very rare to buy rain on the beam. From the perspective of geomantic omen, it is also auspicious that it rains on the upper beam, because geomantic omen has the saying that it grows when it meets water, and rainwater is also regarded as wealth. The rain on the upper beam represents the beautiful implication that the weather will be fine in the future.

The stone carving uses a column of dragons, and Long Zaitian soars in the air. The dragon body surrounds the column body, with a dragon tail on the top and a dragon head on the bottom, taking the trend of falling from the sky. The dragon head is on the top and the dragon claw holds the beads. The columns are decorated with various aquarium patterns and exquisite carvings.

Behind it is a stone-carved phoenix column, facing the phoenix column, there are hundreds of birds. Phoenix spread its wings and flew into the sky, and peony and dozens of birds shuttled between the flower trees. Phoenix is the king of birds and an auspicious bird. Legend has it that the phoenix lives in a fairyland and only appears when the sky is auspicious. Phoenix flies in the sky, birds fly towards the phoenix, which means that the country is rich and strong and the people live and work in peace and contentment!
