This temple is the famous Kaiyuan Temple in Quanzhou, and there is also a Tan Yue Temple in the temple. The owner of the temple is Huang Shougong, a native of Quanzhou, who donated land to the monks to build the temple. In the Thanksgiving Hall of Kaiyuan Temple, a statue of Kuang Hu Zen Master is enshrined, and Kaiyuan Temple respects him as the founder of the mountain. Although this legend is legendary, it also has many types, which are similar to the legends of Hongyuanwai and Dadian monks in Lingshan Temple in Chaoyang. But folklore is inevitable. Huang Shougong's commitment to the construction of Kaiyuan Temple is indeed true, which is recorded in Quanzhou Fuzhi and Kaiyuan Temple Zhi, and there are many discussions among Quanzhou people.

On the roof of the Daxiong Hall of Kaiyuan Temple, there is often a purple cloud hanging over it. Zen master Kuanghu said that this is called "mulberry flowers" and "Ziyun capping". It is said that "Mulberry Offering Gifts" and "Ziyun Gaiding" were once the most famous landscapes of Kaiyuan Temple in ancient times. What makes Huang Shougong particularly happy is that although he gave all his pasture to build a temple, his career became more prosperous and he became the richest man in Quanzhou in a few years. Like birds, they should be kept in cages and eat the meals prepared by their ancestors. " Huang Shougong had this idea long ago, but he just couldn't make up his mind at the moment. Once he was instructed by the Zen master, and his heart suddenly became clear. He asked the Zen master, "The Zen master is right, and so are his disciples. The Zen master traveled all over the world and was well informed. According to the Zen master, where is the best place for my son to start a business? "

Kuang Hu closed his eyes slightly, twisted the beads in his hand, and said slowly, "Where there is the place name of An, it is the place where the descendants of Ziyun will fight. Then spread abroad, spread overseas. Ensure the prosperity and development of future generations for thousands of years. "

Huang Shougong was overjoyed to hear the news. It turns out that many people in Fujian have the word "An", so they decided to act immediately. He has five sons: Huang Jing, Huang Ji, Huang Gang, Huang Lun and Huang Wei. He called them together, explained their purpose, and asked them to move to Tongan, Hui 'an, Anxi, Nan 'an and Sui 'an (Zhangpu and Yunxiao County). Therefore, there is a saying that "five children are divided into five safety" (there is also a saying that there is only "four safety"). After Huang Shougong built Kaiyuan Temple, Ziyun was often built on the top of the temple, so this school of Huang was called Ziyun School. After their respective relocation, Ziyun Wu 'an followed the instructions of their ancestors and the prediction of Zen master Kuanghu, and moved to various counties in Fujian. Then, some officials, businessmen, relatives, or people fleeing disasters crossed fenshuiguan and entered Chaozhou, where they spread their branches and scattered leaves.

It is said that when Huang Shougong sent his son on a long trip, he also sent poems to his son. Its content is similar to the meaning of Huang Qiao's Song Zi Shi.
