What fairy's birthday is the 19th day of the first month?

Which bodhisattva's birthday is the 19th day of the first month? What fairy's birthday is the 19th day of the first month?

Qiu Chuji's birthday.

Every year on the 19th day of the first lunar month, people call it Alcohol and Tobacco Festival, also known as Alcohol and Tobacco Festival, Banquet Festival, Banquet Festival and Huixian Festival, which is the birthday of Qiu Chuji, the head of Quanzhen Taoism, the mainstream of Taoism. In the Ming Dynasty, Dong Liu and Yu Yizheng wrote A Brief Introduction to the Scenery of the Imperial Capital, which recorded the 19th day of the first month: "According to legend, it is the day when real people come, or become gentry, ladies or beggars. Therefore, with a hundred feathers, they married Panasonic. I am very happy to see them. "

That is to say, according to legend, on the 18th night of the first month, Qiu Chuji became a gentry and official, dressed as a tourist or a woman, or a beggar, and returned to his former residence. Whoever is lucky enough to meet this immortal can get rid of illness and prolong life. As soon as the story spread, even the emperor of the dynasty sent courtiers to Baiyun Temple to hold a banquet and make a big sacrifice to the mound.

From 18, pilgrims from all over the world came to Baiyun Temple from all directions. Qiu Chuji's disciples set up a few simple shacks under the pine trees in the pass and meditated. Some tourists simply stay up all night in a secluded place in their sight, waiting for an opportunity, so why are they willing to see Qiu Zhenren?

19 is just the day of alcohol and tobacco festivals, and tourists from inside and outside Baiyun Temple are weaving, and the activities reach a climax. With the passage of time, the content of alcohol and tobacco festival has been enriched and colorful, and gradually formed a big temple fair. There are cultural performances, martial arts acrobatics, scenic snacks, handicrafts exhibitions and sales. The temple fair has an active atmosphere and a large scale.

Is the 19th day of the first month the birthday of Guanyin Bodhisattva?

number

Guanyin has three birthdays. They are February 19, June 19 and September 19 of the lunar calendar. February 19th was her birthday, and she became Yincui gorge that day. June 19 is the day to jump into the fire pit. Her father refused to let her learn Buddhism and ordered her to be burned alive. In fact, it is the anniversary of Bodhisattva's death, and it is also her most bitter and sad day. September 19 is the day when she became a Buddha. On this day, she became a bodhisattva and sat on the lotus platform. This is a happy day.

There is also a beautiful legend about the Dojo. Guanyin Bodhisattva used to live in Luojia Mountain, which is relatively small. Bodhisattva took a fancy to the opposite Mount Putuo. This place is big and beautiful. He wanted to open a Dojo there, so he jumped from Luojia Mountain, flew over, floated over, and floated to Guanyin to jump a big stone. He fell and left a big footprint, just like ours. It is also beautiful to leave such a monument and Guanyin jumping on this stone. Now many of our tourists and pilgrims respect the footprints of the Bodhisattva. I think there are many believers from Tibet and Southeast Asia. He bumped his head into the footprints of the Bodhisattva to touch him. He thought I was clever. From a distance, Luojiashan is like a Guanyin lying on his back, lying quietly on the blue waves. This sea area connecting Putuo Mountain and Luojia Mountain has a nice name called Lianhuayang. Whenever the sea breeze blows and the sea rolls, the lotus ocean blooms like thousands of lotus flowers, adding a beautiful scenery to the Buddhist country in Haiti. Now pilgrims who come to worship Mount Putuo will also worship Mount Luojia after worshipping Mount Putuo, so there has been a saying since ancient times that "the pilgrimage to Mount Putuo will not end until it reaches Mount Luojia".

Legend is still legend after all. According to historical records, the real establishment of Guanyin Dojo in Putuo Mountain is closely related to a Japanese monk named Hua Hui. In 863, the Japanese sent Tang Yan Hua Hui to Wutai Mountain to see a Guanyin statue, and he liked it very much. Without the consent of the monks, he is going to return to Japan by boat. When Hua Hui boarded the ship, the originally light Guanyin statue suddenly became too heavy to lift, and a dozen people worked together to lift it onto the ship. When the boat crossed Mount Putuo, the lotus ocean, which was originally calm, suddenly became violent, and the sea was covered with iron lotus. The boat was nailed and could not move. Everyone on board was very scared. In the evening, Hua Hui dreamed that a monk-like man said to him, "As long as you put me on this mountain, I will let the wind send you back to Japan." So Hua Hui and others carried the Guanyin statue to the tidal cave of Putuo Mountain. Hua Hui's Guanyin statue in Putuo Mountain has another name because he refuses to go to Japan: he refuses to go to Guanyin.
