There are many white bugs growing in rice. What happened?

Introduction:

Mi Chong refers to rice borer, whose scientific name is rice weevil. Common in cereal crops, it is one of the main pests in cereal crops because of its fast reproduction speed.

Habit:

The rice weevil occurs about 8-9 generations each year, with a generation of about 20-50 days. It reproduces quickly at high temperature, and it only takes 25 days at 32℃. The average life span of adults is 3 months. They almost eat rice, hence the name.

Prevention:

Rice is prone to moth when stored for a long time, so it should be bought while eating. After the rice is bought back, it should be put into a rice barrel (vat), and 4 to 5 packets of pepper (each packet of pepper10g, and the bag is made of gauze) should be put into the rice barrel to prevent moths. You can also put a clean wine bottle in the rice barrel, the mouth of the wine bottle is higher than the rice flour, and the bottle is filled with100g of white wine, which can also prevent moth. If you put some quicklime at the bottom of the rice barrel (you can cover the quicklime with plastic sheets to separate the rice from the quicklime), or mix some garlic cloves with the rice, you can prevent moths. No matter which method mentioned above is adopted, the lid of the rice barrel must be tightly closed.

Treatment method:

Don't directly bask in the sun. You should spread a mat in the shade, spread the rice evenly and thinly on it, and often paddle the rice by hand, so that the insects will crawl away from the gaps in the mat, and at the same time reduce the moisture and avoid mildew. Washing does not affect eating.
