March 15, 2023 is the International Consumer Rights Day.

International Consumer Rights Day was designated by international organization of consumers unions in 1983, aiming at expanding the publicity of consumer rights protection, making consumer rights more important internationally, promoting cooperation and exchanges among consumer organizations in various countries and regions, and better protecting consumer rights internationally.

In 2023, the theme of the Consumer Rights Protection Year organized by the National Consumers Association was "Boosting Consumer Confidence". To boost consumer confidence, we must closely follow the contradiction between the most direct and realistic interests of the people, the people's growing needs for a better life and the unbalanced development, work hard and forge ahead, solve problems for consumers and effectively protect their legitimate rights and interests.

Several "time" of consumer rights protection;

"Day 7": If the product fails in performance within 7 days from the date of sale, consumers can choose to return, exchange or repair it.

"15": If the product fails in performance within the 8th day to15th day after being sold, consumers can choose to exchange or repair it.

"Three Guarantees Validity Period": The validity period of "Three Guarantees" is calculated from the date of issuing the invoice. Within the validity period of the "three guarantees", consumers can replace the goods that are still not in normal use after two repairs with repair records and vouchers.

According to the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Consumers' Rights and Interests, the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Product Quality and the Civil Code, consumers mainly enjoy the following rights when purchasing goods or receiving services: the right to safety, the right to know, the right to choose independently, the right to fair trade, the right to claim compensation, the right to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests, the right to acquire knowledge, the right to personal dignity and the right to supervise and report.
