Shunzhi was born and died.
Mystery of death in different places
The first was the eighteenth year of Shunzhi, when Emperor Jingzhang died of illness. The specific reason is that Fu Lin suffered a great mental shock because of the death of his beloved son and concubine, and his health went from bad to worse. Later, he contracted smallpox. In the eighteenth year of Shunzhi (166 1), he died in hall of mental cultivation, the Forbidden City, at the age of 24. The archives of the First Archives of China History support the first statement. According to historical documents, Fu Lin really wanted to become a monk, but he was strongly opposed by the conservative forces in the palace and finally failed to become a monk. Died of smallpox soon. He is also the only emperor in history of qing dynasty who openly converted to Zen.
Another folklore is that Fu Lin, who loves religion, became a monk because his beloved princess Dong E Fei died of illness. This view usually regards Dong E Fei and Dong Xiaowan as the same person. According to the research of historians, this statement has been basically denied.
Recently, historians put forward a third theory, that is, the theory of shelling to death, which holds that Shunzhi was killed by Zheng Chenggong's cannon when he tried to conquer Taiwan Province Province.
Political frustration made the emperor shunzhi indulge in love with his sister-in-law Dong Eshi. With the contact with the Buddhist monk Mu Chenyu and others, he came up with the idea of escaping into an empty door. When his beloved imperial concubine Dong Eshi died, his spiritual support completely collapsed, and his health went from bad to worse. At the age of 24, he was infected with smallpox and died soon. The emperor shunzhi was in office for less than 18 years. He died in heaven, his luck was endless, his system was fixed, and he built an emperor, a scholar, a great virtue, and a sage. Temple name sai-jo. The ashes were buried in the "Xiaoling Mausoleum" in Zunhua, Hebei.
