How old is the almanac?

Daojing takes the 15th day of the first month as Shang Yuan, the 15th day of July as Zhong Yuan, and the 15th day of October as Xia Yuan. From the first Universiade 1864 to 1883, the second Universiade 1884, and the third Universiade 1904.

The 4th Universiade is 1924, the 5th Universiade is 1944, and the 6th Universiade is 1964. The seventh National Games is 1984, the eighth National Games is in 2004, and the ninth National Games is in the next position from 2024 to 2043.

The formation of Lantern Festival custom has a long process. According to general data and folklore, the fifteenth day of the first month was paid attention to in the Western Han Dynasty. On the night of the first month, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty offered sacrifices to "Taiyi" in Ganquan Palace, which was regarded by later generations as the first sacrifice to the gods on the fifteenth day of the first month.

However, the Lantern Festival on the fifteenth day of the first month is indeed a folk festival after the Han and Wei Dynasties. The custom of burning lanterns on the fifteenth day of the first month is related to the eastward spread of Buddhism.
