Calculation method of tide:

High tide: the first half of the lunar calendar, that is, the first day to the fifteenth day, and the morning is one day of the day × 0.8; The high tide time in the morning plus 12 hours and 24 minutes (12.4 hours) is the high tide time in the afternoon. In the second half of the month, just subtract 15 from the date of the lunar calendar, and then calculate according to the previous formula.

There is a formula to calculate the ebb and flow of the tide: two jobs a day on the eighth day; The first day and the fifteenth day, two whole days.

For example, on the eighth day of the lunar calendar, the time of high tide in the morning is 8 × 0.8 = 6.4, which is 6: 24; Afternoon: 6.4+ 12.4 = 18.8, which is 6: 48 pm. It takes about two hours after low tide to one and a half hours after high tide to catch seashells in Rizhao coastal area.
