Xinhua dictionary introduction:

Investigation shows that more than 70,000 dictionaries issued by 52 rural primary and secondary schools in Tengchong County are pirated. Subsequently, Tengchong County recalled and sealed all pirated dictionaries. More than 27,000 copies of Xinhua Dictionary purchased through bidding in Linxiang District of lincang, which is more than 400 kilometers away from Tengchong County, are also pirated. Most of these dictionaries are still stored in the central school in Linxiang District, and most of them have not been distributed to students.

Finally, under the supervision and coordination of the national office of "combating pornography and illegal publications", the local public security organs also formally filed a case for investigation, the relevant criminal suspects were criminally detained by the police, and the pirated Xinhua Dictionary involved in the case was also seized by the public security organs of the two places.
