What are the benefits of the old man paying the bill?

Choose a good day for burial.

People often think that choosing a good day to bury the dead will make future generations sad. Because the auspicious day of the funeral can not be ignored. The criteria for choosing a funeral auspicious day are as follows:

(1) thermal ash burial

It is required that the remains be buried within 3 or 7 days after cremation. This is a method widely used throughout the country to determine the date of burial. The popularity of "hot ash burial" is based on the concept that "it is safe to be buried underground" and that "it is safe to be buried early".

(2) Seven-mile burial

People are required to be buried within 49 days after death. Because "hot ash burial" often needs to be buried first and then erected (the tomb has no time to deal with it), the burial time has been pushed from 3 to 7 days after cremation to 49 days after death. The choice of "Qili burial" is also driven by the concept of "early burial and good morning", so it can also be understood as hot ash burial.

(3) Successful burial

Also known as the "memorial day", it means that the deceased drew a satisfactory full stop from birth to death and realized the return of life. "Sacrifice to the sun" is not suitable for abnormal death, but only for natural death, especially for the very old. Select "Sacrifice Day" to store the ashes of the deceased in the cemetery until the anniversary of the funeral.

(4) Huangli burial

Bian Xiao of Shenyang Cemetery knows that Huangli burial is the most common. Look at the yellow calendar and see which day is auspicious.

(5) Festival burial

Sacrificial customs have been formed in the twenty-four solar terms or traditional festivals in China, and these festivals can be regarded as auspicious days for burial.

Specifically, there will be an important festival in the following month:

Shangyuan Festival is also called Lantern Festival, that is, the fifteenth day of the first lunar month. On this day, people will welcome the first full moon night of the year, which is a lucky day for senior officials. As early as the Han Dynasty, people regarded this day as an auspicious day. Nowadays, it is often used as a day to worship ancestors and pray for blessings.

The Mid-Autumn Festival on July 15th of the lunar calendar is a day for local officials to atone for their sins (Ghost Festival). Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional folk festival in China. On this day, people bring mound sacrifices to the grave to pay homage to their ancestors, similar to Tomb-Sweeping Day's grave-sweeping.

October 15th of the lunar calendar, that is, the next Lantern Festival, is the day when the water officials relieve Eritrea. "China Customs Records" records: "October is the next Yuan Festival. When the customs spread to Shuigong to help Eritrea, there were also people who fasted and recited scriptures." On this day, the Taoist temple served as the Dojo, and the people paid homage to the dead and prayed for the next Yuan Shuigong to solve the problem.

Tomb-Sweeping Day is the most important festival in China. It is a good day to worship ancestors and sweep graves. Now it has been listed as a national holiday. For burial, it can naturally be called an auspicious day.

Winter solstice is the beginning of the ninth festival. The ancients thought that it was a good day for the day to get longer and the yang to rise. Since ancient times, there has been a custom of offering sacrifices to heaven and ancestors from the winter solstice.

The Great Cold Festival is the last of the 24 solar terms. After the severe cold, the earth will gradually rejuvenate, indicating the end and beginning of the annual rings. At this time, while people are busy celebrating the New Year, they don't forget to offer sacrifices to their ancestors and various gods, and pray for good weather and peace in the coming year.
