Who is the historical prototype of Huang Chen?

Huang Chen's historical prototype is a virtuous minister in the Qing Dynasty. He was very loyal to Emperor Kangxi and spared no effort to control the Yellow River flood.

Huang Chen (1637 ~ 1688), the word tianyi, the word Zuotian,no. Shengzhai. Xiushui (now Jiaxing, Zhejiang) was born. Qiantang (now Hangzhou, Zhejiang) was a famous minister of river management in Qing Dynasty. I didn't like stereotyped writing since I was a child. When I was young, I studied books on irrigation and water conservancy, and went to Ningxia, Hetao and other places to study the Yellow River regulation.

Huang Chen was brilliant and knowledgeable since he was a child, but he tried again and again. He usually pays great attention to his studies and is proficient in geography. He was an expert in river management in the early Qing Dynasty. Exhausted the last strength of life and wrote his masterpiece "River Defense".

He is determined not to be an official or an emperor, because he thinks that people all over the world can no longer suffer from the flood of the Yellow River.

Role experience:

In the 26th year of Kangxi (1687), Uncle Chen was made a Taoist by Jin. Since then, in order to eradicate the flood in Huanghuai, Huang Chen broke the traditional method of "preventing rivers and ensuring transport" since ancient times, and put forward the idea of "thoroughly governing Huanghuai", that is, "coordinating the upper, middle and lower reaches of Huanghuai and simultaneously developing its sources and streams", which was not adopted by the court.

In twenty-seven years, Jin Fu and Huang Chen were dismissed for "disturbing people by farming". Soon, he died of illness in Beijing. He is the author of "Statement of River Defense" and "Summary of River Defense", attached to Jin Fu's "General Outline of River Defense".
