Tongcheng Railway Station is located in Tongcheng City, Anqing City, Anhui Province. It is a third-class station under the jurisdiction of China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd., and the main line is Hejiu Railway.

Historical evolution:

1991May, the construction of Hejiu Railway jointly invested by the Ministry of Railways and Anhui Province officially started.

1995, Tongcheng station was completed.

1996 1 month, the entire line of Hejiu was completed and delivered for acceptance, and cross-bureau passenger transportation and all-line freight transportation began. Hejiu Railway Co., Ltd., which is controlled by Shanghai Bureau, is responsible for operation and management, and Tongcheng Station belongs to it.

In March, 2005, the establishment of railway sub-bureaus was abolished and direct management of stations and sections was implemented. Tongcheng Station belongs to Hefei Railway Depot of Shanghai Railway Bureau and is now a third-class station.
