Is there really a Yan Huang in history?

Yes, Emperor Yan Shennong originated in Guangdong and Guangxi, and was the ancestor of East Asian people. Emperor Yan and Emperor Huang are descendants of Fuxi and Tai Hao.

The Taihao Fuxi family was born in Tianshui (now the eastern part of Gansu Province) in the middle reaches of the Weihe River about 6000 years ago, and its tribe moved eastward and established political power in Guchencang (now Baoji City, Shaanxi Province).

Yan Di and Huang Didu are tribal leaders. Historically, the titles of Huangdi Shennong and Xuanyuan were recorded in ancient books for eight generations. The earliest Huangdi Shennong and Xuanyuan were brothers, both born in Baoji today. Among them, Yandi was born in Jiang Shui, the southern suburb of Baoji City, and Huangdi was born in Jishui, Qishan County, Baoji City. This is basically the same in academic circles at home and abroad.

Extended data

According to legend, Emperor Yan and Emperor Huang are a kind of throne.

Later, the Shennong tribe took charge of the position of Emperor Yan, but at this time, the Shennong tribe was unable to call on the world. The Yellow Emperor began to conquer his ministers and accumulate strength. In Cold Spring, he fought against Yan Di Shennong, and Yan Di was defeated. The Yellow Emperor ordered the world governors to exile Yan Di Shennong to the south of Chu. The Chiyou tribe in the south originally belonged to Shennong in Yan Di.

They disobeyed the orders of the Yellow Emperor, assembled troops to fight against the Yellow Emperor and avenged Emperor Yan. Qin Shihuang defeated them by stratagem. Later, considering the aspirations of the people of Yandi, they merged the Yandi Shennong tribe and recalled it to the auxiliary government. The two tribes gradually merged into the Huaxia nationality, which was called the Han nationality after the Han and Tang Dynasties.

There is also a legend that the tribe led by Emperor Yan lived in the Jiang Shui Valley (now Qingjiang in Baoji City) and later entered the middle reaches of the Yellow River, where it clashed with the Jiuli nationality. The leader of Jiuli nationality is Chiyou. He has eighty-one brothers, that is, eighty-one clans. He is a powerful tribe that is brave and good at fighting. Chiyou deported Yan Di to Zhuolu (now the parent-child river basin in northwest Hebei), and Yan Di asked the Yellow Emperor for help. The two sides fought in Zhuolu, but Chiyou was defeated and killed.

Yan Di formed an alliance with Huangdi and defeated Chiyou, and then gradually formed Huaxia with Chiyou tribe and Huangdi tribe. Therefore, we are all called descendants of the Chinese people.
