How did the ancients spend the Lantern Festival?

I have been to Yuanxiao mainly by lighting lanterns, enjoying flowers, solve riddles on the lanterns and the moon.

When "rabbit" and "moon" are naturally linked, it is probably the Mid-Autumn Festival every year.
