What does Fuxing mean?

Fuxing is the auspicious god worshipped by China people.

Fuxing originated very early. It is said that a dwarf was born in Daozhou in the Tang Dynasty and was sent to the imperial court as a plaything for many years. When Tang Dezong took office, he abolished the case and refused the emperor's request to recruit dwarfs. People in the state felt their kindness and worshipped it as a god of blessing.

In the Song Dynasty, people generally worshipped Yangcheng. In the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, Yangcheng was also said to be the hometown of Yang Cheng, the fifth emperor of the Han Dynasty. In the future, there will be more different opinions, either honoring the celestial official as a blessing god or honoring the baby's son Zhang Xian as a blessing god. Zhang Xian is called "Master Zhang Xi 'an" because he can give gifts and help children.

The Taoist immortal of Fuxing;

Taoism preaches the belief of "three officials" and has far-reaching influence. Heavenly god blesses the people, local officials atone for sins, and water officials eliminate disasters. Taoism reshaped the image of Tianguan, and deeply integrated the belief of Sanguan into the daily life of ordinary people in a special way. This way is a festival.

In the Taoist book "Fairy Mirror of Past Dynasties", the myth of the birth of the three officials of heaven, earth and water is associated with three important folk festivals. It is said in the book that the Buddha of the Yuan Dynasty absorbed the essence of heaven and earth and became a spiritual body in it.

On the fifteenth day of the first month, Emperor Yao was born. On July 15, Shun Di was born. On October 15th, Emperor Dayu was born. Their birthdays later became three important folk festivals, namely Shangyuan Festival, Zhongyuan Festival and Xiayuan Festival. Especially the Lantern Festival, the Lantern Festival on the 15th day of the first month, is still one of the most influential festivals among the people.
