Brief introduction of Ran Min's life

Ran Min was the founding emperor of Wei Ran.

Ran Min was born in Neihuang County of Wei County (now Neihuang County of Henan Province). Founder of the Wei Ran regime in the Sixteen Kingdoms period. Shi Min, formerly known as Shi Min, was the adopted grandson of Shi Hu, the Emperor of the Later Zhao Dynasty, and Shi Hu was like a grandson to Ran Min. Decisive and keen, known for his bravery. After Zhao awarded the guerrilla general, he was named Hou. Since the conquest, he has repeatedly made meritorious military service. After Shi Hu's death, he made the stone emperor, and then he killed the stone statue and made a stone mirror. In 350, Shi Jian was killed and proclaimed emperor, and his surname was Ran, and Wei State was established. History said that the Yuan Dynasty changed to Yongxing.

In 352, he was defeated by Murong Ke, the former king of Taiyuan, and was captured by Murong Miao, the prince of Yan, and beheaded in the mountains to mourn the heavenly king. The epitaph of Ran Min's great-great-grandson Ran Hua called Ran Min "Emperor Ping".

Ran Min was decisive and keen when he was young, and Shi Hu loved Ran Min very much and raised Ran Min like a grandson. As an adult, Ran Min was eight feet tall, brave and skilled. General Jianjie, renamed Hou, served as commander of the northern army and guerrilla general. " Shi Hu said, "I rely on Ran Min and his son to capture Wu Dong and Bashu. Why should I kill Ran Min! " Instead of getting rid of Fu Hong, he gave him more generous treatment.
