Although Emperor Wudi later defeated Emperor Yan, "Emperor Yan" should still be ahead of "Yellow Emperor", so there will be a saying of "descendants of the Yellow Emperor".

Emperor Yan is actually Shennong, and the emperor is Xuanyuan. Shennong was a leader at a very early age. According to Records of the Historian, Shennong led for a very long time, but later their strength became weaker and weaker, so Xuanyuan came into being and became a new leader.

However, there are not many records about the war between them in the history books, so many people later thought that the war between Yan Emperor and Huang Di was an internal war, because according to historical speculation, Yan Emperor's tribe was in Jiang Shui, and Huang Di's tribe was saving water, and these two positions were very close, so many people thought that they were actually the same tribe in the past.

Later, after the Yellow Emperor won Yan Di, the two tribes became one tribe. Later, the Yellow Emperor won Chiyou, so he became the first of the five emperors. However, Huang San Biography records that Yan Di is not a name, but a title, so some people speculate that Yan Di won by the Yellow Emperor is not the first Yan Di.

Moreover, the birth record of Emperor Yan is very bizarre in history. Many books say that Emperor Yan was actually born because his mother felt the dragon. Emperor Yan is a master of planting, and he also led the progress of civilization. But up to now, the true origin of Emperor Yan is not clear.
