Huang Er, also known as Shaanxi Huang Er, Shan Huang Er, "Back Mountain Huang Huang" or "Huanger Opera", is one of the Han operas in Shaanxi. Popular in southern Shaanxi and Longdong. It was formed when Huang Er Tune entered Shaanxi from Hubei along the Hanshui River. It is also called "Han tune" because it is composed of Xipi and Huanger in Hanshui River Basin. In the early days of liberation, it was also called "Shaanxi Han Opera" in Ankang area in order to be consistent with the general name of various operas in the Pihuang system. It was very popular in the Qing Dynasty. Due to different regions, it is divided into Hanjiang School and Luo Zhen School. The music of Hanjiang School is soft, and both singing and dancing are excellent. Luo Zhen School has a strong tone and is good at martial arts dramas.
