Six principles of choosing an auspicious day for marriage

1, it is more appropriate to choose Runnian Runyue. China people attach great importance to the choice of wedding date, and attach great importance to the theory of "Runyue" and "Runnian". Choose an auspicious day to get married, preferably in a full moon year, because it will have a good omen. Of course, if there was no "Runyue" or "Runnian" in those days, there was no need to force it. Note that "Runnian" is divided into solar calendar and lunar calendar. 2. Avoid March 7th and September of the lunar calendar. It is best to avoid choosing auspicious days in March, July and September of the lunar calendar, because these three months coincide with Qingming, Yulan and Chonggong respectively, which are traditional "ghost festivals" and are not suitable for joint happy events.

3. Avoid the days of San Niangsha and Yang Gongbi. According to legend, Yue Lao didn't give Sanniang a red line, so that she couldn't get married. Based on revenge, San Niang betrayed Yue Lao and ruined the couple's wedding. Therefore, the third, seventh, thirteenth, eighteenth, twenty-second and twenty-seventh days of each month are not suitable for marriage.

4. Dates should be based on women. One principle of choosing a date is to give priority to the date of birth of the bride and refer to the date of birth of the man and others. As the saying goes: "Give birth to children, marry a woman and marry", which shows the importance of the woman's choice of date. If this principle is reversed or ignored, it will lead to problems in the married marriage and even divorce, which new people must not ignore.

You must avoid your parents' birthdays. In traditional numerology, parents' birthdays should not be the same as wedding auspicious days, that is, parents' birthdays should not be married.

6. Date of registration and marriage. If you decide to separate the registration date from the wedding date, you'd better do it on both days. If you want to choose, you should choose an auspicious day based on the traditional wedding banquet and wine setting etiquette, because China tradition has always regarded this day as a real wedding day.
