Back in the heyday of Kaiyuan, there were thousands of families in the small town. Rice is fat and white, and public and private warehouses are rich. There are no wolves and tigers on the road in Kyushu, which is a good day to travel. Du Fu's Memories of Time Past consists of two poems, which were written by Guangde in Chengdu in 764 AD. In the poem, I write my memories of Tang Suzong and Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty. The first one is about the Tang Dynasty after the Anshi Rebellion. The second song enviously recalls the economic prosperity and peace of the whole country when Kaiyuan flourished, hoping that the Tang Dynasty would prosper and let the prosperity reappear.

In the form of poetry, Remembering the Past Years reproduces the historical process of the Tang Dynasty from the prosperity of Kaiyuan to the rebellion of Anshi and from prosperity to decline.

Shi Sheng kaiyuan 1

"Kaiyuan" (7 13-74 1) is the title of Li Longji in the early reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. From the early years of Emperor Taizong's Zhenguan to the end of Kaiyuan, after more than 100 years of accumulation, not only the "Zhenguan style was once revived", but also the economy and culture had new development. During the Kaiyuan period, the Tang Dynasty entered its heyday, which was called "the prosperous time of Kaiyuan" in history.

During the Kaiyuan period, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty took Emperor Taizong as an example, followed the example of "the rule of Zhenguan", worked hard in political affairs, vigorously governed, and implemented a series of policies to promote the development of social economy, culture and education, and ethnic relations, all of which received obvious results.

2. An Shi Rebellion

In the late Kaiyuan period, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty lost the spirit of seeking upward governance, and politics became more and more corrupt after Yuan Dynasty. Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty loved pleasure and favored Yang Guifei, and changed from advocating frugality to spending money like water. He handed over state affairs to Li, and then to Yang. Li is a secretive prime minister. During his tenure, he relied on the trust of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty for 16 years, and put an end to refusing loyalty. Because of Yang Guifei's love, Yang succeeded Li as the right-hand man. He only knew how to plunder the people's wealth, so that the clique was in power, the state affairs were not in Japan, and the state affairs were corrupt, which led to the rebellion led by the border generals An Lushan and Shi Siming. Rebels invaded Chang 'an, the capital of the Tang Dynasty, and Emperor Xuanzong fled to Sichuan. The history of this incident is called "An Shi Rebellion". The Anshi Rebellion lasted for eight years from the 14th year of Tianbao in Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (755) to the 2nd year of Baoying in Tang Daizong (763). The Anshi Rebellion was the turning point of the Tang Dynasty from prosperity to decline. Since then, the Tang Dynasty has declined. In the late 9th century, the peasant uprising broke out at the end of the Tang Dynasty, and the Tang Dynasty collapsed. In 907, the Tang Dynasty perished.
