Where's Parakrista?

Parajinta is located on the hillside on the north bank of Nujiang River in Liangqu Township, 20 kilometers away from the county seat, belonging to the affiliated building of Gongsa Temple. It is said that the stupa has great blessings, which can eliminate troubles and patients.

Looking down from the Pala Crystal Tower, the Nujiang River flowing eastward is not far apart, and across the river from the Crystal Tower is the well-known Gongsa Temple. About 5 kilometers back from the Crystal Tower, there are mani piles and practice caves in the middle of Meiba Mountain. There are Buddhist temples in the practice cave, and there are footprints left by previous practitioners. There is a natural clear spring water gushing from the ground. It is said that drinking this spring water can make practice very successful, and countless people have achieved Buddhism in the practice cave. There is a huge rock on the mountain wall not far from here, and believers are full of praise for it, claiming that it is the residence of the gods in the temple and should worship it devoutly every year.

Although the Palatin Tower is magnificent now, it is not the original building in history. The "0 Movement" that took place in 1966 led to the complete destruction of Xiaojingtang and all buildings, which became a ruin. All the monks were repatriated to China, and all the Buddhist scriptures, statues and cultural relics in the temple were looted, interrupting all religious activities. After 1984, it was completely repaired with the strong support of Riwang Tenzin-and others, and now it is famous.
