I went to my uncle's house without waiting for my family to come out.

The next day, Wang Anshi was in the examination room, and it was not difficult to read the test questions. After a little thought, he waved. Seeing that he was young and talented, the examiner asked him to go for an interview, pointing to the dragon flying flag in front of the hall and saying, "The Dragon King gave a banquet, the moon lit candles, the mountains ate sea wine, and the ground was the medium." Tell him the correct answer. Wang Anshi remembered the first couplet he saw yesterday, which was just right. He casually replied: "The jade emperor is a soldier, the wind and guns are raining, the thunder flag is flashing, and the sky is my witness." The examiner was very happy to see his quick thinking and quick answer.

Wang Anshi went back to his uncle's house and waited for the court to announce the list. Who knows, I just entered my uncle's house, only to find the old man waiting there yesterday: "Oh, Xianggong, I looked for you for a long time yesterday, and I didn't know you lived here until today." Let's go, my family is anxious. " He said, pulling Wang Anshi away.

When members of the Ma family saw Wang Anshi, they hurriedly gave up their seats, took out Four Treasures of the Study, a pen, ink, paper and inkstone of the study, and asked him to write the second couplet. Wang Anshi wrote down the first couplet just written by the examiners: "The Dragon King gave a banquet, the moon was lit by candles, the mountains ate sea wine, and the earth was the medium."
