This is also the most direct way to test whether the fish tank is suitable for raising fish. If the water in the tank is turbid and smelly, it proves that the nitrification system has collapsed, and it needs to be re-established after water change and inspection, or nitrifying bacteria can be added manually. In addition, nitrifying bacteria will form a bacterial membrane and adsorb on the solid surface. You just need to touch the wall of the cylinder or the filtering equipment with your hands to see if there is a slippery feeling.

Third, measure the pH of water. The most scientific method is the ammonia nitrate content in the water in the fish tank. If the contents of ammonia and nitrate in the detected water are zero or extremely low, it can basically indicate that the nitrifying bacteria system has been established. You can buy monitoring test strips or related chemical reagents from the market, and you can test them yourself at home.

4. Underwater excrement. Nitrifying bacteria are initially established, and fish with low price and strong vitality can also be added.
