Introduction of the Principal of Anji Shangshu Private High School

1984, Tang, the former public principal, faced with the call of the students who failed in the senior high school entrance examination, resolutely resigned from his post, built a school building on his own private plot, and began a long school career.

In the course of running a school for 23 years, it has experienced numerous difficulties and twists and turns. With its infinite love for education and indomitable spirit, the school has developed from more than 60 students to a provincial-level key school with a scale of nearly 4,000 students, and has also become an influential school-running person in China. It was once praised by People's Daily as "the first person to eat crabs in private high schools in China". Because of his outstanding contribution to running a school, President Tang has been received by the party and state leaders for many times, and has successively won the honors of "Spring Silkworm Award", "Green Leaf Award", "China Reformer in the New Century", "2 1 Century Cover Person" and "Top Ten Outstanding Persons in National Private Education".

President Tang is currently a liaison member of the Central Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party, a member of the Zhejiang Provincial Political Consultative Conference, and the vice president of the Zhejiang Private Education Association.
