Every few days, tens of thousands of Kangba friends will set up large tents stretching for several kilometers on the Zhaxika grassland to celebrate this great event.

The tent festival is actually a "material exchange festival" for Kangba people in the border areas of Sichuan, Tibet and Qinghai provinces, where people gather to trade surplus grain, livestock and articles on the spot. I once saw a tent selling fur with my own eyes. The owner hangs otter skin products one by one outside the tent, just like advertisements, which can be seen from a distance.

Between the tents, the locals still play strange games. Of course, watching Tibetan opera is the main program, which can be seen from morning until 5 pm.
