In the flower path, flowers are temperamental, and respecting the individuality of flowers is the harmony between florists and nature. For example, the bark of pine branches is easy to dry, so it needs to be soaked in water for one night after selection, and then arranged in flowers. Chrysanthemums are allergic to metal smells, and chrysanthemums picked by hand will never bloom.

When different flowers are paired together, we must consider whether we love each other or not. Although they are all spring grass, dandelion and Liriodendron, one is as bright as spring, and the other is as cold as spring, gathered in a vessel, then embarrassment will spread in the atmosphere.

The ingredients in Shi Huai Cai are naturally matched with the seasons, paying attention to spring bamboo shoots, autumn mushrooms, summer melons and winter crabs. Different seasons correspond to the right ingredients and select the essence of nature.

Because the taste is not only the ingredients, but also the taste of a season, utensils and the environment need to be harmonious and unified, so Shi Huai cuisine is often hidden in the mountains or Zen temples, and "harmonious" with nature.

Cooking with longing and sentimental heart is Shi Huai cuisine's respect for ingredients. The dishes will be presented to the guests together, and the taste should be slow. Huadao uses "looking at flowers" to appreciate flowers, but at the same time, you are also looking at flowers and yourself. The cultivation of the flower path begins with the insertion of many flowers, just like people, how can they see themselves without seeing all beings.

In this process of "from more to less", the florist cultivates inner "clarity" and slowly cleans up his sight of complexity and interference, and finally the remaining flowers are his incarnation. Finally, the flowers, utensils and background are congenial, the utensils are simple and the environment is spacious and clean.
