Jietai Temple is located in Ximentougou, Beijing. I'm ashamed. This is the first time that I went back to attend the ceremony that a wonderful monk in Jietai Temple was awarded the abbot's throne.

Today, the weather is fine and sunny. It's a good day. Later, I heard that June 2 was a big day, so I didn't study it carefully. At least, it must be reasonable for people to choose this day as an auspicious day to ascend the throne.

The pine trees in Jietai Temple are very famous, such as Wolong pine and Baota pine, each with its own unique taste. Because it is a special day of Fa conference, the ground is covered with a red carpet, which smells like some Hollywood movie stars walking on the red carpet. Both sides of the carpet are filled with protectors holding prayer flags, which is very solemn.

We turned a circle and came to the main venue of the Fa Conference-Foxuan Hall. We entered the main hall and found a chair to sit down. There is a sea of people outside, which is quite spectacular. After a while, the crowd became noisy, and all eyes were watching under a yellow umbrella. A fat monk and a group of monks in yellow clothes and robes came and entered the main hall of the Buddhist temple. The ceremony began.

After the ceremony, everyone was happy. Fortunately, I can take photos with the abbot and his teacher, the Buddha-faced monk, while I am secretly looking forward to tasting the famous vegetarian food in Jietai Temple as soon as possible.

The vegetarian diet in Jietai Temple really lives up to its reputation and is well done. For example, braised pork with plum vegetables looks very similar and vivid, but when put in your mouth, it tastes different and really unique. There are fish slippery and so on, each with its own wonderful points. Finally, the plaque of Jietai Temple, a vegetarian restaurant, was inscribed by Master Huang Zhou and is also a treasure. Presumably, when Huangzhou tasted vegetarian dishes here, he was in a good mood and wrote this title in perfect words. This is the masterpiece of the old man!
