What is Fukuzawa Yukichi's experience as a translator?

Fukuzawa Yukichi has been eager to visit abroad and get to know western society directly. Since 1860 went to the United States as an interpreter for the Japanese diplomatic corps, he has gone abroad three times and visited Britain, France, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia and the United States.
