Three traditional festivals

The traditional "Sanyuan Festival" is a traditional festival, namely Shangyuan (Lantern Festival, the 15th day of the first lunar month), Zhongyuan (Zhongyuan Festival, the 15th day of the seventh lunar month, commonly known as "July 30th" or "Ghost Festival") and Xia Yuan (the 15th day of the tenth lunar month), which respectively refer to the starting points of three groups of day arrangements.

4 Taoist interpretation

Sanyuan, in Taoist teachings, originally refers to the origin of the universe and the origin of Taoist classics. The early Taoist Taiping Road had the theological thought of "three unifications", saying: "There are three vitality, the sun, the moon and the neutralization. There are three forms, heaven, earth and man. There are three people in the sky, the sun, the moon and the stars. The North Pole is China. There are three places, namely mountains, rivers and plains. There are three people, father, mother and son. There are three rulers, the monarch, the minister and the people. If you want peace, these three should be in Chang Zaixin, and you can't lose points, so that the same worries can be combined into one family, and you will have peace and longevity. " There was no ternary theory at that time. Zhang Lu, a biography of the Three Kingdoms, quoted Dian lue as saying, "Please pray and write down the patient's name to convince him of the crime." Three links, one goes up to the sky, one goes down the mountain, one goes down to the ground and one goes into the water. It is called three official calligraphy. "There is no link between three officials and three yuan.

Around the end of the Northern Zhou Dynasty, the word "three yuan" was recorded in the Taoist book "The Supreme Secret". Twenty-seventh book "Shangqing Shenfu" quoted "Dongzhen Sanyujuan Jianbu Jing", saying that people who are attached to "Sanyuan Tan Xuan Imperial Sword Wen Zi" may "take advantage of Sanyuan, and be promoted to Sanyuan official position" nine years later. This book is included in the text category of Daozang Dongtian Xuanji Department, and its full name is "Shangqing Sanyuan Jade Inspection Sanyuan Cloth Jing". The so-called "three elements" in this book refer to heaven, fairy and earth, namely, The Complete Book of Jade Examination in Shangyuan, The True Classic of Jade Examination in Zhongyuan and The Classic of Jade Examination in Xia Yuan. Attached is ternary memory, in which the god of memory is "Tai Su Yuan Jun" and her three daughters, Perilla Yuan Jun, Su Huang Yuan Jun and Su Su Yuan Jun, and the three goddesses are also called "Three Su Yuanjun". Therefore, the "three yuan" of the Shangqing school does not refer to the three officials of heaven, earth and water. Volume 52 of Top Secret contains "Three Yuan Zhai Pin". Xu Mozhai thinks that the man of Tao is "long and vulgar, competing for five gods, guilty of deep dust, and never conscious, but as long as sin, mountains and seas accumulate over time, and he doesn't know his destiny. Today, if you rob and catch it, sin will bind heaven and earth. Where is the book of three officials' arrest? Therefore, it is necessary to celebrate the auspicious day of the ecliptic with three yuan. "Zhai Qing burns incense, worships the product of his predecessor and today, and the sin committed by heaven is unforgivable. God is not sad, and ghosts are not released." Accordingly, the Northern and Southern Dynasties began to associate the "three officials" with the "three products".

The article "Collection of Literatures" compiled in the early Tang Dynasty, Volume IV, July 15th, said: "It is said in the Taoist scriptures that on July 15th, the mid-Yuan period, local officials selected the human beings, divided them into good and evil, saints of the heavens, Puyi Palace, simple doom, ghosts and ghosts, and hungry ghosts and prisoners, and all gathered together at one time. Take its day as the mysterious capital, worship Yujing Mountain, collect flowers and fruits, exotic things, build treasure covers, eat and drink, and worship all saints. Taoist chanting day and night, ten sages, poems by Qi Yongling. The prisoners are all hungry ghosts, and they are spared all kinds of hardships and returned to the people. " The Buddhist scripture praised in Selected Works is "Tai Shang Huang Dong Xuan Lingbao Sanyuan Yuxuan Crystal Capital Jing Xian".

Taoist Collection is included in the text category of Dong Xuanbu. There are explanations and annotations in the book, and the author is unknown. Note: "Three yuan, one yuan, this also." But the above three officials are the foundation of all things, so they are called ternary. "Explain:" All sentient beings, their life and death, and their records of good and evil are all in the three yuan and nine houses, the three officials of heaven, earth and water, and they have nothing to lose. "Say three yuan, the fifteenth day of the first month is Shangyuan, that is, Tiangong stops; July 15 is the central plains, that is, the local official investigation; 1October 15 is Xiayuan, that is, Shuiguancha. All beings are under the control of the three officials of heaven, earth and water. " It is described in more detail in the Merit Classic of Ling Xuanbao's Three Laws and Discipline in Taishang Cave. It is said that there are three palaces, three houses, thirty-six Cao in the Heavenly Palace, forty-two Cao in the local officials, one hundred and twenty Cao in the water officials, and three officials * * * specially record the merits and demerits of people's life and death. "The duty service is correct and there are no mistakes." The Buddhist scriptures also say: "There are 36,000 gods in three palaces and six hospitals in the human body, and there are also 120 joints.

People do evil, body and mind also play three officials;

If a person does good deeds, he will be given a fairy name. It is natural that the blessing of life and death is first influenced by body and mind. "This will connect the gods with the gods of the body and become a monitoring system for people's good and evil behaviors.

Zhang Junfang's "Seven Clouds" (Volume 56) and "On Yuan Qi" in the Song Dynasty said: "After chaos, there are three elements of heaven, earth and water, which give birth to human relations and support everything. People also follow the law, and the number is Sanjiao and Sandantian, in order to raise their bodies and give birth to their spirits. " Calling the three Dan fields of the human body "three elements" is the view of Taoist inner alchemy.

"Shentongqi" says that it contains three elements: nourishing the heart and establishing virtue. Yu Yan, a Taoist scholar at the end of Song Dynasty and the beginning of Yuan Dynasty, called "Sanyuan" "upper, middle and lower fields". There are three chapters in volume 30 of Daoshu compiled by Yao Zeng in the Song Dynasty. The "three chapters" are "those who go to Yuan, head; In the yuan dynasty, the head was under the navel; Under the Yuan Dynasty, the navel was below the waist. " "People have three yuan, and three yuan plug is six qi chaos"; "Among the three elements, the intermediate element is the most respected one"; "Breathing air is enough. Moving in a trance, it naturally forms and is sent to the sea of gas. Therefore, the Central Plains is focused on the Pearl of the next Yuan Dynasty, and its vitality will be determined. Central Plains, Yang also, Bear also; Under the yuan, yin is also, and women are also "; "The Chinese yuan keeps the next yuan, the left is white and the right is black, and it is one"; "External air does not enter, internal air does not come out, and it is in harmony with heaven and earth, and it is endless." There is a saying in Zhang Boduan's Five Truths that "the four images and five elements are all born and bred, and the three images and eight diagrams are all separated". Dong Dening's note: "The three principles are three talents, the three lights of the sun, the moon and the stars in the sky, the fire, water and soil on the earth, and the human spirit." This links the practice of Inner alchemy with the theory of the formation of the universe in Taoist teachings. Chen Yingning, a famous Taoist scholar in modern times, also called the "three elements" jing yuan, Yuan Qi and Shenyuan in Huang Tingjing's lecture.

According to the Three Points of Taoism Zongyuan, Volume Three of Seven Years Cloud, "Sanyuan" has the meaning of the origin of the universe and Taoist classics, saying that "the original husband Taoism started in Zhao, started from nothing, and the trace should be sensible and wonderful, divided into three elements, then changed from three elements to three elements, and then changed from three elements to three elements. Three talents are self-sufficient and everything is ready. Its ternary, the first mixed hole space, the second mixed red space, and the third mysterious. " From the three elements, Tianbaojun, Lingbaojun and Shenbaojun were born.

The three kings lived in the clear sky of Jade Qing, the clear sky of Yu Yu and the clear sky. These three kings are Taoist leaders, that is, the gods of the three caves. "Tianbaojun said that the Twelve Classics are the real leaders of the cave; Ling Baojun said that the Twelve Classics was the leader of Dong Xuan. Shen Baojun said that the Twelve Classics is the leader of the cave god. " From this, the Taoist three-hole system and various Taoist classics including it were derived.

There are three peak periods in the history of China's ancient poetry, which are called "Sanyuan"-Kaiyuan, Yuanhe and Yuan You.

5 numerology ternary

In numerology, there are three elements: heaven, earth and man. The heavenly stems are Tianyuan and the earthly branches are Yuan Di.
