What are the procedures for sacrificial activities before the construction site starts?

Generally speaking, people think that the land has its own land god. Therefore, when building or decorating a house, we must start digging, in order to prevent disasters from offending the land god. Therefore, before starting work, we should refer to the peasant calendar of that year, choose the auspicious day suitable for breaking ground, prepare offerings and paper money to worship the land god on the day of breaking ground, and present a note to the land god to pray for peace. In addition to paying homage to the land gods, some people also pay homage to the ancestors of engineering buildings, especially the construction industry, in order to pray for the smooth progress of technical projects during construction.

Offerings: sacrifices, fruits, cakes, flowers, tea and wine.

Gold and silver paper: longevity gold, cutting gold and blessing gold.

Worship program:

Place offerings → light candles → propose a toast to tea → burn incense (three incense) to pray for the land gods to bless the smooth progress of the project → When the incense burns to about one third, hold gold paper in both hands to worship the gods → burn longevity gold, cut gold and blessing gold → sprinkle wine with paper ashes → withdraw the offerings → hold the foundation laying ceremony.

Offerings: five bowls of vegetable rice, rice and fruit.

Place offerings (put one or two pairs of chopsticks) → light candles → offer tea → burn three incense sticks (say —— Disciple XXX, please prepare offerings for the land gods to enjoy and pray for the Foundation Master to bless the project smoothly ...) → When the incense burns to about one third, worship the Foundation Master with paper money in both hands → burn gold and silver paper → sprinkle paper ash with wine → withdraw the offerings.
