The Origin of Guangdong Dianbai Cui Shi

Historian Li Juexun's book The Origin of Xia Dong Dianbai's surname Cui Shi records that Cui Shi, the ancestor of Dianbai Xia Dong, was a descendant of Cui Xuanhui, the king of Tang Boling. He was originally from Min County, Fujian Province (the other was called Hua Qian, Jiangxi Province) and entered Guangdong with his father and uncle. Cui Benhou's father, Cui Huanzhi, lives in Shayongfang, Shatou North Village, Nanhai. His uncle Choi Woo-shik, a scholar in the Southern Song Dynasty, originally lived in Zengcheng. He was appointed Prime Minister Right and Ambassador of Guangdong and Guangxi, and he was also very familiar with Fu in Guangzhou. After he became an official, he lived in Cuifu Street, Guangzhou. Cui Benhou, also known as, was appointed as the order of Lingshan County in Lianzhou during the reign of Xianchun in the Southern Song Dynasty (1265- 1274), and was sealed as Wen. When the Southern Song Dynasty was on the verge of extinction, he retired from Lingshan and went to Dutou Village (now Danchang Town) on the west bank of Shendianwei (now Diancheng) to settle down. Uncle Lu Cong's tomb, which moved south together, was also in Dutou Village, and was later named Cui Jiayuan. Cui Benhou was named Jiujiu Palace in his later years and enjoyed a long life. After his death, he was buried with the Yan Huang family in Sanlixu, North Geling, and took the seat of Ren Xiang C. His third grandson, Sun Qifu, also known as Wen Bin, was the leader of the Southern Song Dynasty (1273). Later, in Gui You's New Year, Xieyuan Temple was built in a corner of the west gate of the electrical city, sitting in the direction of Dingding and Meridian. Cui Rong, the great grandson of the Duke of 99, was a juror in Yuan Dynasty (134 1). Rong V. Zuo Wu's words are helpful, and the number is still growing. At the end of Yuan Dynasty, he moved to Xia Dong and established his own family. His in-laws Wang Wanxuan (V) and Jin (VI) moved from Shuangcun Village (now Zhenhaitou Village of Electric Appliances) to live together. Zuo Wu was the first person to settle in Xia Dong, Cui Shi, while Cui Benhou, the first one named Baekje, was the ancestor of Cui Shi. Cui Benhou (Duke of 99) spread to the seventh generation (that is, his grandson) in the four rooms of Fenyuan, Heng, Li and Zhen. The Book of Changes begins by saying, "Gan, Yuan, Heng, Li and Zhen". It means: Gangua contains the original virtues of greatness, prosperity, peace and chastity. Here, the numbers of the four rooms (children) are in turn. Zhen Fu (Changfang) is the ancestor of Fiona Fang, Zhu Zhen (Erfang) is the ancestor of Fang Heng, Zhenbao (Sanfang) is the ancestor of Li Fang, and Honghui (Sifang) is the ancestor of Fang Zhen. Goh Chok-chih's eldest son, Jiang Chun, has no heir. Their generations have made indelible contributions to the early development of Xia Dong. From the end of the Yuan Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty, to the Qing Dynasty, to the Republic of China, and then to New China, Cui Shi in Xia Dong has multiplied to more than 30 generations, with more than 30,000 people, mainly scattered in 150 villages in Xia Dong Town.
