Where is mom's crooked neck?

Mother with crooked neck is in Qingyan Temple, Beizhen City, Liaoning Province.

Qingyan Temple Scenic Area is located at the southern foot of Yiwulu Mountain in Beizhen City, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. There is an artificially dug cave in the middle of the temple, which is 5.5 meters deep, 4 meters wide and more than 2 meters high. There is a statue of Guanyin mother carved with granite in the cave, commonly known as "mother with crooked neck".

According to "Anecdotes of Historic Sites in Northeast China", when carving this stone carving Guanyin Buddha statue, the monks chose an auspicious day and led the villagers to carry the Buddha statue into the Buddhist temple. However, because the Buddha statue is high and the cave is low, it is impossible to carry the Buddha statue into the cave. Just when everyone was in a hurry, someone joked, "If the old mother tilts her head, she can go in."

As soon as the voice fell, people saw that the stone Buddha really tilted his head to one side. All the monks and villagers successfully carried the stone Buddha into the cave and placed it firmly on the lotus throne. Everyone was surprised that the old mother appeared. After running to worship, she hurried out. I forgot to call my mother in a hurry, but the stone Buddha still tilted his neck.
