Is there any particular time for burial?
Hot ash burial
It is required that the remains be buried within 3 or 7 days after cremation. This is a method widely used throughout the country to determine the date of burial. The popularity of "hot ash burial" is based on the concept that "it is safe to be buried underground" and that "it is safe to be buried early".
Qili burial
People are required to be buried within 49 days after death. Because "hot ash burial" often needs to be buried first (the grave is too late to deal with), the burial time is postponed from 3 to 7 days after cremation to 49 days after death. The choice of "Qili burial" is also driven by the concept of "early burial, good morning", so it can also be understood as hot ash burial.
Complete burial
Also called "Sacrifice to the Sun", it indicates that the deceased will come to a successful conclusion from birth to death and realize the return of life. Sacrifice to the Day is not suitable for abnormal death, but only for those who have few regrets in life, especially those who are very old. If you choose "Sacrifice Day", you can store the ashes of the deceased in the cemetery until the anniversary.

Holiday funeral
Sacrificial customs have been formed in the twenty-four solar terms or traditional festivals in China, and these festivals can be regarded as auspicious days for burial. Specifically, there are the following important festivals:
(1) Shangyuan Festival. Also known as the Lantern Festival, that is, the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, people will usher in the first full moon night of the year, which is the day when God bless the people. As early as the Han Dynasty, people regarded this day as an auspicious day. Nowadays, it is often used as a day to worship ancestors and pray for blessings.
(2) Mid-Autumn Festival. The fifteenth day of the seventh lunar month is the day when local officials atone. Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional folk festival in China. On this day, people take sacrifices to the graves to pay homage to their ancestors, similar to Tomb-Sweeping Day's grave-sweeping.
(3) the next yuan festival. October 15th of the lunar calendar is the day when water conservancy officials help Eritrea. "China Customs Records" records: "October is the next Yuan Festival. When the customs spread to Shuigong to help Eritrea, there were also people who fasted and recited scriptures." On this day, as a Dojo, the Taoist temple offered sacrifices to the dead and prayed for the next Yuan Dynasty water official to solve the problem.
(4) Tomb-Sweeping Day. Tomb-Sweeping Day is the most important festival in China, and it is a good day to worship ancestors and sweep graves. For burial, it can naturally be called an auspicious day.
⑤ Winter solstice. The solstice in winter is the beginning of the ninth festival. The ancients thought that the days became longer and the sun rose as a lucky day. Since ancient times, there has been a custom of offering sacrifices to heaven and ancestors from the winter solstice.
(6) Great Cold Festival. The Great Cold is the last of the 24 solar terms. After the severe cold, the earth will gradually rejuvenate, indicating the end and beginning of the annual rings. At this time, while people are busy celebrating the New Year, they also do not forget to offer sacrifices to their ancestors and various gods, and pray for good weather, peace and good luck in the coming year.
