Throughout history, Qin Shihuang, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty and others, like Mu, always wanted to find a "panacea" for immortality, but their efforts ultimately hated the water flowing eastward and buried a pile of wasteland. Song died, but Ma Jun was helpless. This sharp contrast between subjective affection and objective ruthlessness is ostensibly about Zhou Muwang's sorrow and greed, but in fact it exposes and satirizes the bad behavior of the Tang Dynasty emperor, who was contemporary with the poet, regardless of the safety of the world, regardless of the life and death of the people, and only wanted to live forever and seek immortality and worship Buddha.
