There are many beautiful legends about Shuanggou wine, among which the most widely circulated are the legends of Jiumei, a Quge, and Jiumu, a Divine Melody. Ancient and modern literati, generals, scholars, etc. It also left touching poems for Shuanggou Liquor, such as Su Dongpo, Ouyang Xiu, Yang Wanli and Fan Chengda. In the Song Dynasty, there were Huang Jiuyan, and in the Ming Dynasty, there were contemporary Chen Yi and his son, Ye Shengtao, Lu, Ru Zhijuan, Lv Yuan and Zou Difan. In many beautiful poems, Shuanggou wine has been fragrant every day for thousands of years.

After Su Dongpo, a great writer in the Song Dynasty, was demoted, his best friend Zhang Zhijun sent Shuanggou wine and Shuanggou fruit "Big Head Crisp" for the poet to taste. " According to local records, in the early years of Qing Qianlong, there were more than a dozen wineries in Shuanggou Town, and the wine they produced depended on the flood and drought docks near the lake and Huaihe River. When transported to various places, people have the reputation of "seeing the scenery and Yangzhou, drinking and drinking double ditch". Shuanggou Daqu was rated as the first famous wine and won the gold medal at the Nanyang wine persuasion meeting in the late Qing Dynasty. This heyday lasted all the way to War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
