A celebrity story about the beginning

A story that changed Einstein.

Einstein was very playful when he was a child. His mother often worries about this and warns him what to do many times, but he always goes in one ear and out the other. In this way, until the autumn of 16, one morning, my father stopped Einstein who was fishing by the river and told him a story that changed Einstein's life. The story goes like this:

"Yesterday," Einstein's father said, "Uncle Jack and I, our neighbors, cleaned a big chimney in the southern factory. The chimney can only go up if you step on the steel ladder inside. Your uncle Jack is in the front and I am in the back. We grabbed the handrail and finally climbed up step by step. When I came down, your uncle Jack was still in front and I was still behind him. Later, when I came out of the chimney, I found a strange thing: your uncle Jack's back and face were blackened by soot in the chimney, but I didn't even have any soot on me. " Einstein's father continued to smile and said, "I saw your uncle Jack and thought I must be dirty like a clown, so I went to the nearby river to wash and wash." And your uncle Jack, seeing me clean when I came out of the chimney, thought he was as clean as me, so he washed his hands and went straight to the street. As a result, everyone in the street laughed and hurt their stomachs. They think your uncle Jack is crazy. "

Einstein couldn't help laughing with his father. When his father finished laughing, he solemnly said to him, "In fact, no one else can be your mirror. Only you are your own mirror. Taking others as a mirror, an idiot may also turn himself into a genius. "

Hearing this, Einstein suddenly looked ashamed.

Einstein left the naughty children. He always takes himself as a mirror to examine and reflect on himself, and finally reflects the brilliance of his life.

Compared with others blindly, I feel that I am content to be smarter than the people around me, or that I am depressed because I am not as good as others. How stupid this is! Everyone has different life goals and lifestyles, and he is the most reliable life guide in the world.

The story of Wang Xizhi

Wang Xizhi was a great calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. He was born in the gentry, and with his outstanding talent, all the ministers in the court recommended him to be an official. He is the secretariat and general of the right army (people also call him Wang Youjun).

Wang Xizhi loved writing since he was a child. It is said that when I usually walk, I also practice writing with my fingers at any time. After a long time, even the clothes were cut. After studying hard and practicing hard, Wang Xizhi's calligraphy became more and more famous. People at that time regarded his calligraphy as a treasure.

It is said that once, Wang Xizhi went to a village. An old woman went to a charity sale with a basket of hexagonal bamboo fans. That kind of bamboo fan is very simple, without any decoration, which can't attract the interest of passers-by. It seems that it can't be sold, and the old woman is very anxious.

Seeing this situation, Wang Xizhi felt sorry for the old woman, so he went up to her and said, "You can't sell this bamboo fan because there are no pictures or words on it." How about I write an inscription for you? "

The old woman doesn't know Wang Xizhi. Seeing his enthusiasm, she wrote him a bamboo fan.

Wang Xizhi took a pen, wrote five words on each fan and gave them back to the old woman. The old woman can't read, and she feels that his handwriting is scrawled, so she is very unhappy.

Wang Xizhi comforted her and said, "Don't worry. You told the fan buyer that it was written by Wang Youjun. "

As soon as Wang Xizhi left, the old woman did as he said. Collectors rushed to buy Wang Youjun's calligraphy after seeing it. A basket of bamboo fans soon sold out.

Many artists have their own hobbies, some love to grow flowers and some love to keep birds. But Wang Xizhi has his special hobbies. Where there are good geese, he is interested in seeing them, or buying them to enjoy.

There is a Taoist in Yinshan. He wants Wang Xizhi to write him a copy of Tao Te Ching. But he knew that Wang Xizhi would not copy scriptures for others easily. Later, he found that Wang Xizhi liked white geese, so he specially raised a number of geese with good varieties.

Wang Xizhi heard that there were good geese in Taoism, so he really went to see them. When he approached the Taoist house, he saw a flock of geese floating leisurely on the water in the river, with white feathers and high red tops. It was really cute.

Wang Xizhi watched by the river and was reluctant to leave, so he sent someone to find a Taoist priest and asked to sell him the goose.

The Taoist priest said with a smile, "Since the princes love eating so much, they don't have to spend any money. I'll give you all these geese. But I have a request, that is, please write a volume of scriptures for me. "

Wang Xizhi did not hesitate to copy a scroll of scriptures for Taoist priests, and the goose was taken back by Wang Xizhi.

Eat dumplings

One day, Wang Xizhi passed by the market and saw a shop called Jiaozi. There is a lot of noise and excitement. In particular, the two couplets by the door are particularly eye-catching. On the horizontal plaque "Duck jiaozi Store", the words "You can't come here, you can always know the taste" are written. But the handwriting is dull and weak, lacking in kung fu.

After reading it, Wang Xizhi thought: Is this word worthy of inscription on the plaque? Another thought: "If you can't pass this level, you will know the taste. Come often." -Boy! Who the hell is buying and selling here, boasting so much?

Looking closely, I saw a cauldron with boiling water in it, which was located next to a low wall. Jiaozi wrapped in white flour,

Just like Bai Niao flew over the wall and just fell into the boiling cauldron. When the pot is full, the bird will be grounded without saying hello. When this pot of jiaozi was cooked and fished out, the "birds" flew in a line again, exactly.

Wang Xizhi was surprised, took out some scattered silver coins, asked for a big bowl of jiaozi and sat down. Only then did he discover that jiaozi was delicate and delicate, like a duck swimming in the water. This is an amazing product! He picked up jiaozi with chopsticks, slowly put it in his mouth and took a gentle bite. Suddenly, the smell was fragrant and delicious. Before I knew it, I swallowed the big bowl of jiaozi.

After a hearty meal, Wang Xizhi said to himself, This duck jiaozi is really delicious! It's just that the handwriting of the couplet at the door is too poor to deserve this delicious jiaozi. Why don't I, Wang Xizhi, take this opportunity to write another couplet for them and live up to my visit here? Thinking of this, he asked the clerk, "Where is the shopkeeper?"

The clerk pointed to the low wall and said, "Hui Xianggong, the shopkeeper is behind the wall."

Wang Xizhi bypassed the low wall and saw a white-haired old woman sitting in front of the panel, rolling dumpling skins and wrapping dumpling stuffing alone. In the blink of an eye, the action is extremely fast. Stranger still, after the bag was finished, the white-haired old woman threw jiaozi at the low wall, and jiaozi the duck climbed over the wall one by one.

Wang Xizhi was stunned by the old man's superb skills. He hurried forward and asked, "Old man, with your deep kung fu, how long will you have to practice?" The old man replied, "To tell you the truth, it takes fifty years to master it, and it takes a lifetime to master it."

Hearing this, Wang Xizhi was silent for a while, as if he were savoring this sentence. Then he asked, "You are so skilled, why don't you ask someone to write a better one at the door?"

The old man said very enthusiastically; ""xianggong "don't know, not the old woman don't want to please, but not please! Some people are only famous for their writing, but their eyes are upward, so they don't want to write for us ordinary people. In fact, in my opinion, their writing skills are not as deep as I throw jiaozi! " The old man's works don't necessarily refer to Wang Xizhi, but Wang Xizhi felt annoyed and ashamed when he heard this. So, he specially wrote a pair of couplets and respectfully gave them to the old man.

Inventor-The Story of Luban

Lu Ban was born in 507 BC. His family has been craftsmen for generations. Luban himself is a skillful craftsman and an outstanding inventor. There are many records and legends about him in history. Until now, the story he invented has been widely circulated among the people.

Saws and planers

Today, carpenters use hand tools such as saws, drills, planers, shovels and rulers. Mo Dou is said to have been invented by Lu Ban. And the invention of every tool was developed by Lu Ban through repeated experiments in production practice.

Take the invention of the saw as an example. On one occasion, the king ordered Luban to cut down 300 beams and columns in fifteen days to build a big palace. So, Lu Ban took his disciples up the mountain. They got up early and were greedy for the dark, wielding axes and chopping for ten days in a row. They were exhausted one by one, and only one hundred big trees were cut down.

At this time, all the bricks and stones are ready, and the auspicious day chosen by the king is about to expire. If the wood is not properly prepared during construction, it will be put to death. What shall we do? At night, Ruban tossed and turned in bed and couldn't sleep. He got up and walked towards the mountain with a deep foot and a shallow foot. Looking up, the seven stars blinked at him, and it was almost dawn.

Suddenly, Luban felt that his hand was cut by something. When he raised his hand, he saw a hole in his calloused hand, oozing blood beads. He looked around carefully, and it turned out to be thatched grass. Ruban was surprised. He picked up a blade of grass and found many sharp teeth on its edge. Turning around, he saw a big locust with two big ears eating grass quickly. Luban caught a locust, and when he saw it, its teeth grew well. Look at the leaves of silk grass and the big die of locust, and his heart will be suddenly enlightened.

He made a bamboo out of Phyllostachys pubescens, which was carved with many serrations like silk grass leaves and locusts. Pull the tree with it, only a few times, the bark will be broken, and once again, there will be a deep ditch on the trunk. But after a long time, the sawtooth on the bamboo piece is either pure or broken. At this time, Lu Ban thought of iron. He ran down the mountain and asked the blacksmith to make a serrated iron bar based on the bamboo pieces he made, which was used to pull the tree. Really fast!

This iron bar is the prototype of a saw. With it, Luban and his disciples cut down 300 beams and columns in 13 days.

Luban is a carpenter and works with wood all day. He is very skilled, especially good at cutting wood into the required shape with an axe. The sentence "Teach people to play with an axe" means that anyone who wants to play with an axe in front of Lu Ban is overreaching. This shows Lu Ban's proficiency in using an axe.

However, it is impossible for Lu Ban to cut the wood smoothly with an axe, especially when it comes to wood with thick grain and many scars. In order to solve this problem, Lu Ban pondered during the day and thought at night. First, he made a thin axe, which was quickly sharpened. Much better than before, but still not ideal.

So, Luban ground a small and thin axe, covered with a piece of iron, leaving only a narrow blade. This time, Luban won't cut it. He pushed the wood with this narrow blade. Push, the wood pushed down a thin layer of sawdust. After a dozen pushes, the surface of the wood is flat and smooth, which is much better than that cut with an axe in the past. But when this thing is pushed in your hand, it is both stuck and invalid. Lu Ban made another wooden pedestal and put it in. So the plane was born.

When Lu Ban was a carpenter, he often met right angles. Although he has a rectangular moment in his hand, it is still very troublesome to use. After improvement, Luban made an L-shaped wooden ruler, measuring at right angles, which is convenient! Later people called it Lubanchi. Because Lu Ban has made such a great contribution to the improvement of woodworking tools, carpenters have regarded him as the founder for more than two thousand years.

Stone mill and ladder

Luban travels all the year round, working for others. On this day, he was busy all morning and sat down to have a rest. There is a family nearby who is preparing to cook, but there is no flour. They took some wheat, put it in a mortar and pounded it with a heavy pestle. The wheat masher was so tired that he sweated a little. Because the wheat grain is oval, the force is small and it cannot be broken; I was so excited that I smashed the wheat and ran. I'm really anxious. That's how people used it at that time. Luban is determined to reform it and solve difficulties for people. Another day, "Lu Ban came to another place to work and happened to see an old lady pounding wheat. The old lady is too old to lift the stone pestle. She took a stone pestle and studied the wheat in the stone mortar. Lu Ban walked over and saw that many wheat grains in the stone mortar had been ground into powder. Lu Ban was inspired by this.

When he got home, Lu Ban asked his wife Yun Shi to find two stones. He chiseled the stone into two large disks and carved a groove on one side of each disk. He also installed a wooden handle on one of the disks. The neighbors were surprised. What does Luban do? Everyone gathered around to watch. I saw that Lu Ban stacked two disks together, and the two sides of the gouge were connected, with a wooden handle on it and a shaft in the middle. He put the wheat grain in the middle of the disc and then turned the stone disc on it. Wheat grains are quickly ground into flour. Everyone is very happy. Lu Ban did make a great contribution to people. "This is the stone mill widely used in rural areas of China for more than two thousand years.

Luban is not only a skillful craftsman who can make all kinds of daily necessities for the people. He is also an outstanding mechanical inventor.

Luban lived in an era of hegemony and wars year after year. At that time, every city had high and thick walls. The soldiers guarding the city closed the gate and stood on the wall to guard. As for the attackers, the weapons in their hands are just bows and arrows, spears and the like, and it is difficult to capture the city. Often the city is surrounded for many days, and it is difficult to rush.

King Lu ordered Lu Ban to make siege equipment. Thinking about the past and the future, Lu Ban remembered the short ladder he used when building the house. If you step on a short ladder, you can climb to the roof. If you build a long ladder, you can climb the high city wall. If you can shoot arrows on the ladder, can't you beat off the defenders? So, Luban built a "ladder". This kind of "ladder" can be carefully set up to reach the high city wall, where people can stand and shoot arrows. The ladder in modern fire fighting equipment evolved from this kind of ladder.

According to ancient records, Luban also built a "wooden horse car". It was built for the funeral when his mother died. Lu Ban installed a mechanical device in the car, which was driven by a Woodenhead. On the day of the funeral, a lot of people surrounded along the way, looking at this self-propelled wooden cart, one by one marveled.

Sean skillfully solved the crisis.

One day, near Luoyang, Liu Bang saw many generals get together to complain. They stopped talking when they came near them. I saw the expressions of complaints on the faces of the generals. It seems that they have a problem with Liu Bangting!

Liu Bang called Sean and asked him what had happened. Sean truthfully reported: "What the general said is rebellion!"

Liu bang was shocked by this sentence. He has just become the emperor of the Han Dynasty, and the world is beginning to decide. Now someone has come out to rebel, so he can't help worrying. He quickly asked Sean for details. Sean analyzed: "Your Majesty's snake-cutting uprising was won by these soldiers who risked their lives to seize the world. Now, your majesty has defeated Xiang Yu and won the throne. The generals are most concerned about the granting of official positions and the enfeoffment of land. However, your majesty enfeoffed those closest to him, and punished those who had a grudge against your majesty. Now, while looking forward to your majesty's early enfeoffment, the generals are worried that their land is limited and they will not be rewarded. Some people are afraid that they will be punished by your majesty if they offend him at ordinary times. So they got together and plotted against each other. If it is not handled properly, civil strife will occur. "

"Now, how to clean up?" Liu bang asked quickly.

Sean said unhurriedly, "I have a plan to deal with this situation. Your Majesty, please tell me who you hate the most and who the generals know? "

At this point, Liu Bang had to tell the truth: "The person I hate most is Yong Chi. This man is brave and good at fighting, and has repeatedly made meritorious military service, which is quite prestigious among soldiers. However, with his own credit, he ignored the ceremony of the monarch and the minister and embarrassed me in front of the minister several times. I really wanted to kill him to drive away the evil spirits in my heart, but when I thought it was time to hire someone, I endured it. "

Sean clapped his hands and smiled and said, "That's good. Your majesty immediately sealed Yong zhihou. Those who have made meritorious deeds and are worried about your majesty's embarrassment will eliminate all concerns and never rebel again when they see that your majesty has sealed off the people they hate most. "

Liu Bang adopted Sean's strategy, gave a banquet, made Yong Chi a marquis in front of the ministers and generals, and asked the Prime Minister and the suggestion to speed up the awarding process.

Before this, the generals who were ready to make trouble set up a banquet and said happily, "Now, don't worry about anything, we are waiting for your majesty's packet reward!"

Sean's plan put an end to the coming rebellion.

Feeling: In terms of rewards and punishments, leaders should distinguish between public and private. Clear distinction between public and private,

A mathematician inspired by stories-Chen Jingrun.

Chen Jingrun, a famous mathematician, made great contributions to overcoming Goldbach's conjecture and founded the famous "Chen Theorem", so many people affectionately called him "the prince of mathematics". But who would have thought that his achievement originated from a story?

1937, diligent Chen Jingrun was admitted to Huaying College in Fuzhou. At this time, during the period of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Professor Shen Yuan, director of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering in Tsinghua University, returned to Fujian to attend the funeral, unwilling to stay in his hometown because of the war. Several universities got the news and wanted to invite Professor Shen to give lectures. He declined the invitation. As he is an alumnus of Huaying, he came to this middle school to teach mathematics to his classmates in order to report to his alma mater. One day, Teacher Shen Yuan told us a story in math class: "A Frenchman discovered an interesting phenomenon 200 years ago: 6=3+3, 8=5+3, 10=5+5, 12=5+7, 28=5+23. Every even number greater than 4 can be expressed as the sum of two odd numbers. Because this conclusion has not been proved, it is still a guess. Euler said: Although I can't prove it, I am sure this conclusion is correct.

It is like a beautiful light ring, shining with dazzling brilliance in front of us not far away. ..... "Chen Jingrun stare eyes, absorbed.

Therefore, Chen Jingrun took a keen interest in this wonderful problem. In his spare time, he likes going to the library. He not only read the counseling books in middle schools, but also eagerly read the textbooks of mathematics and physics courses in these universities. Therefore, he got the nickname "bookworm".

Interest is the first teacher. It is such a mathematical story that aroused Chen Jingrun's interest and his diligence and made him a great mathematician.

Deng Xiaoping's childhood story: an experience of "stealing money"

During his stay in Beishan Primary School, Deng Xiaoping had another experience of "stealing money". One day on my way to school, I found a classmate crying sadly. He asked why. It turned out that this classmate's sister was seriously ill at home, and her family was very poor and had no money to treat her. What shall we do? Xiaoping returned to his ideal home. The next morning, he couldn't wait to give the classmate five silver dollars and told him to take it to treat his sister quickly.

The money could have bought 500 Jin of rice, which Deng Xiaoping stole from his father. In fact, Deng Xiaoping's family is not particularly well-off at this time, and her mother weaves and raises silkworms at home. Soon, Deng Shaochang found that he had lost his money and angrily called the whole family together to ask questions. Knowing that Xiaoping did it, Deng Shaochang picked up a bamboo and fought angrily. Later, after knowing the reason why her son took the money, the mother held her son in her arms with distress.

Confucius admitted his mistake.

Once, Confucius and his disciples Luz, Zigong and Yan Yuan went to Haizhou to play. When Confucius heard the rumble, he said to Luz, "There is thunder and rain on the other side of the mountain. Why did you rush there? " Lutz said: "This is not the sound of thunder and rain, but the sound of waves lapping on the shore." Confucius had never seen the sea before and wanted to go to the seaside to see the sea, so Confucius and his party took a bus to the foot of Fuyang Mountain by the sea.

When Confucius and his disciples climbed to the top of the mountain, they saw that water and sky were connected and the sea was vast. They are all very excited. At this time, Confucius felt hot and thirsty. He asked Yan Yuan to go down the mountain to scoop seawater to drink.

Yan Yuan took the utensils and was about to go down the mountain when he heard someone laughing behind him. Everyone thinks it's strange. Looking back, he was a fisherman's child and asked him what he was laughing at. The child said, "The sea water is salty and astringent, so you can't drink it." After that, he handed the bamboo tube full of fresh water to Confucius.

Confucius drank water to quench his thirst and was very grateful to his children. He was about to thank him. Suddenly, there was a storm from the sea breeze. Lutz looked worried and shouted, "Oh, no, where can I hide from the rain now?"

The fisherman's child said to everyone, "Don't worry, please come with me!" " "Say that finish, the child led the child a line of people into a cave, that's where he usually hides fish. Confucius stood at the mouth of the cave to hide from the rain, and while thinking about the seascape in the rain, he couldn't help but sing two poems: "The wind blows thousands of waves in the sea, and the rain hits the beach." "Three disciples of Confucius praised Confucius' poems with one voice, but the child objected. He said to Confucius, "Have you ever counted thousands of waves and pits?" Confucius convincingly agreed to the child's backchat.

After the rain stopped, the children went fishing at sea again. Confucius recalled a few things that happened just now and said apologetically to his three disciples, "I said before that I was only smart and stupid." It seems inappropriate. We should still advocate' learning and knowing' and' knowing is knowing, not knowing is not knowing'. "

Confucius was a world-famous saint at that time, but in front of a child, he realized his shortcomings and mistakes and dared to admit them.
