Xia Shuqin's personal introduction

20 12 83 years old. 1937 12 13, nine Xia family grandparents and grandchildren, seven of whom were killed by the Japanese. Xia Shuqin, then eight years old, was stabbed three times, but she and her four-year-old sister survived because she fainted. John Magee, then president of the Nanjing International Committee of the Red Cross, recorded Hagar's tragic experience with a video camera and included it in relevant documents. The famous Diary of Rabe also recorded Hagar's experience. Hagar's case was also used as evidence when the Nanjing Military Court tried Japanese war criminals after the war.
