There is a mountain called Yanling in Kouquan Town, Datong. According to legend, there is a spring water halfway up the mountain in Yanling, which flows out of the gap like a human mouth, hence the name Kouquan Town. This spring water is cool and delicious, and people from Fiona Fang Baili come here to get water for treatment. But then the spring stopped flowing.

What happened was this: there was a rich man in Kouquan Town who opened a drugstore. Because the spring water in Yanling can cure all diseases, everyone refused to buy his medicine. So, the rich man thought of a ghost idea to block the spring. It turns out that the spring water doesn't flow out of a hole. This cave is more than two miles deep, and there are two mouths at the source, one is Tongyanling and the other is Yemaokou in Huairen County. Block one of the holes and the spring water will flow to the other hole.

In the cave of Yanling, only one person can import and export the spring. This man's name is Zhao San. The rich man paid Zhao San back with a lot of money and asked him to block the spring. Zhao Sanben didn't want to do such an outrageous thing, but he succumbed to the temptation of the rich man and promised to stop him. Zhao San found an oil drum, filled it with Hu oil, made a light twist with hemp rope, stuffed it into the oil drum and lit a big oil lamp. He took a deep step and a shallow step, avoiding potholes and finally reaching the source. He removed the big stone blocked in the goose feather hole and blocked it in the Yanling hole, and the spring water kept flowing to the goose feather hole. This time, there was no spring in Yanling, and everyone was crazy, but no one dared to go into the cave, thinking of Zhao San again. Zhao San felt bad when he saw that everyone was in a rash, and many patients were waiting to drink spring water. They decided to go into the cave and then draw the spring out. When the rich man who opened the drugstore knew about it, he sent a bucket of Hu oil with a false heart and put it on Zhao San's back. Zhao San thought that the rich man had changed his mind and plunged into the hole. On the way, the oil lamp suddenly went out. It turned out that the rich man played a trick in the oil drum. The upper part is oil and the lower part is water. Oil is lighter than water and floats on the water. At first the oil lamp was on, but then something went wrong. Zhao San hurried back, but he couldn't see his fingers in the cave. He accidentally fell into the abyss and never came out.

Since then, there has been no spring water in Kouquan.

After Qin Shihuang unified China, he collected hundreds of thousands of civilian workers. When the gourd was ripe, Lao Manjiang cut it with a knife. Suddenly, he saw a white, fat and lovely female doll lying inside. Lao Manjiang was overjoyed and ran to tell everyone. When the villagers heard about it, they came to watch this new thing one after another, but Meng and Jiang had a contradiction and quarreled bitterly. Meng Laohan said firmly, "I planted this gourd myself, and the fat girl is mine." Lao Manjiang stubbornly said, "This gourd is tied in my yard, and this girl should be mine." After three days and nights of quarreling, it was inseparable and fruitless. After mediation by the villagers, it is concluded that the female dolls belong to two families, who live in turn and support each other, and are named "Meng Jiangnv".

Time flies, the sun and the moon fly, and more than ten years have passed in an instant. Meng and Jiang, two old people, chose a son-in-law named Fan Qiliang for their grown-up, and married on a certain day. Unforeseen things happened. On their wedding day, the bride and groom will pay their respects. Suddenly, they broke into several courtiers from outside, scrambling to regard the groom Fan Qiliang as a civilian worker.

It turned out that at that time, because Qin Shihuang dispatched a large number of civilian workers all over the country to build the Great Wall and worked day and night, countless civilian workers were exhausted and starved to death. In order to speed up the progress of the project, they caught civilian workers everywhere to supplement it, and Fan Qiliang was also sent as a civilian worker to repair the Great Wall.

In a blink of an eye, a year passed and there was no news of Fan Zhaliang. She was so anxious that Meng Jiangnv couldn't eat or sleep and didn't know what to do. After consulting with the two old people, she decided to go to her husband and vowed not to go home until she found him. She brought her husband dry food and extra warm clothes and set off. Along the way, the wind and rain, sun and rain, hunger and cold, trudged, and finally found a place to repair the Great Wall after trudging in Wan Li. I found that many people died to repair the Great Wall, and my husband, Fan Qiliang, was exhausted and buried under the Great Wall, and his bones could not be found.
