Pufferfish (we call it Timba fish) is sold in Long Island, Shandong Province, and it is easy to buy. You can contact and order (when going out to sea) that the blood, egg pieces and liver of puffer fish are highly toxic. We often have temporary workers here who can't handle puffer fish and get poisoned when making soup. Forget it if you can't do it. This fish ... we islanders eat frozen fish (with a lot of chewing gum) in the New Year.
