The full text of the only tombstone inscription in Liangzhu, Jining, China is as follows:

"The source of Waiji II is detailed, and you visit the old people. Rumor has it that Zhu Jun of Jiuqu Village in Jining had a very rich family, and the villagers called him a social citizen. Scholars who have children to see the world often make them expensive, show their cleverness and have no children. If it is not expensive, it will be expensive, and if it is expensive, it will be rich! There was a woman named Yingtai under her knee, who was very clever. After listening to her father's advice, she suddenly became a child. I don't know my family, I don't know my hometown, and I am whiter than my parents. After all, I study and inspire my family to thank my parents. It's late spring and the scenery is beautiful. The follower crossed Wuqiao for dozens of miles, and Liu Yin stayed for a while. As it happens, Zou Yi lives in the west of Mingshanbo, the son of Liang Taigong, and invited Mr. Yishan to teach. Students are classmates during the day and sleep together at night. "Zou Yi lives in the west of the famous mountain, the son of Liang Taigong" means that Liang Shanbo's home is located in the west of Zou Yi, which means "the west of Zoucheng", that is, the west of Zoucheng, Jining City, Shandong Province, and is located near the two urban and rural areas of Weishan County (the local folklore "Liang Shanbo" lives in the two urban and rural areas of Weishan County); Ma Shilang's hometown is in Maxi Village, Ma Po Township, Weishan County today. Ma Su's epitaph also confirmed that Liang Zhu's story ended in human tragedy, Zhu Yingtai died of grief, and there was no myth and legend of become a butterfly. On July 28th, 2005, the document of Weishan County People's Government (Wei [2005]16) published the list of the third batch of county-level key cultural relics protection units in Weishan County, including the tombs and tombstones of Liang Zhu in Ma Zhong Village, Ma Po Township.
