What is the teahouse designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma?

In the good space near Liangmaqiao, we saw the real face of the teahouse designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma to make the building disappear.

I often wonder how amazing architecture really is. For thousands of years, people have lived in buildings with different names. First, it sheltered from the wind and rain, and then gradually developed an increasingly advanced life culture. When we enter a house, our bodies will subconsciously feel its quality, such as space, structure, material, air circulation and furniture arrangement, not to mention the influence of light on your intuitive feeling. If you don't believe me, look at this photo:

During the day, the sun shines from east to west. Traditional doors and windows let it go, frame it, divide it, make it have a shape, and change slowly with time. Because of division and barrier, there is shadow, shadow, shadow, space and life.

We said, "Go into the room." In the vast space, there seems to be no such thing as "boarding a ship" because there is no high threshold. Yes, it's just a clean glass door. When you get close, it slides silently, and then you see this:

Bamboo grove Does it look anything special? Not exactly.

These bamboos are all imported from Japan. In Japan, they have a nice name: dyed bamboo. In a 95-year-old processing factory, three generations have been inheriting bamboo weaving skills. Select the original bamboo with the height of 10 meter, and then cut the straightest, most symmetrical and best quality section for processing. These bamboos with a diameter of 8~ 10 cm have to be naturally dried, straightened and aired, and then put into a dyeing vat for dyeing-yes, that's why they are called "dyed bamboos". Then, workers must fill the bamboo with polyurethane and cut it down to ensure that it will not rot within 50 years.

Now I don't think they are ordinary bamboos, do they? Then watch it again.

In addition to the "path", bamboo is covered with black pebbles. If you slow down deliberately, you may have the illusion of walking by the water. As for the hand knocking on the copper on the ceiling, it is uneven, reflecting the light at different moments, dark yellow, bright blue and dark black, which is enough for people to look forward to in peace.

Walk through the short and long transition space outside the entrance and close the bamboo screen, which is also made of bamboo, and a bigger space will be opened before your eyes.

Single person sofa, a double sofa, a multi-person sofa, a table and three abstract paintings. Is it simple? That's right.

But it was designed by a famous designer: Christian liaigre, a Frenchman who is good at interior design, is a person who is good at decoration according to vulgar success theory. You can't tell by the picture alone, but in order to create a living room atmosphere, the backrest angle of the sofa is said to have been carefully adjusted, so that people sitting inside will neither feel too far away nor too close.

Look at it from another angle and look back at the exit. There is an irregular table on the left.

The table is triangular, which is different from the square table and the big round table. The acute triangle ensures different flexibility in communication. It can be used as both a conference table and a dining table.

Look at the texture of the table. When you eat at this table, your hands won't slip. Of course, if the rice falls on the table, it seems to be more troublesome. But then again, tables and chairs are usually very important furniture in the house. Whether the tables and chairs are comfortable or not determines the time you are willing to sit down. And when you really sit down, how beautiful the scenery is in front of you determines the time you are willing to stare.

A different angle. The designer said that this space will make people change the scenery, and we can hide behind the sofa and have a look-it's only one or two hundred square meters, but it looks spacious, and the white walls and plain bamboo curtains are in harmony.

As bright as a bronze mirror, the painted board adopts Formula One F 1 products produced by the factory designated by McLaren. Its board line is abstract, and then look at the abstract painting in the reflection, which has a sense of reflection.

By the way, the big yellow painting is "Disordered Order" created by the artist Richard Texel 20 13. "Chaosmos" is a mixed word created by James Joyce in the novel finnegan wake in 1939, which probably means that order can really exist only if chaos is tolerated. But in any case, abstract painting is difficult to explain. You can look at part of this painting:

It's good to be close at hand-as long as you calm down and have a good look.

These two small paintings are the works of French artist Claire Shannon, who was born in 1986 and graduated from Paris Art Institute in 2009. These two paintings look like prints, but they are actually painted in ink on drawing paper. Do you think the bottom of the painting has a feeling of falling under the traction of gravity?

Ok, now we can talk about the teahouse. However, in fact, there is nothing to say-because when you open the bamboo curtain door, at first glance, tables, chairs, frames, stools, paintings, flowers, etc. all come into view, without barriers, seclusion or careful tasting like a magnifying glass.

However, this seems to be wrong. Different from the tall space in the living room, the "foundation" of the teahouse is raised, and it is necessary to lift the feet when entering the teahouse. Such a small gesture may make people feel subtle. The ceiling has also been lowered, making it closer to the traditional Japanese tea room. Although it is not as small and low as the teahouse in Morino-ri-CHO, the cramped space can make people more aware of "self" and feel another kind of "peace, respect and silence" in "tolerance".

What is most worth mentioning is actually these bamboo curtains from Zhejiang Anji Bamboo Township. In Japan, bamboo screens are called "SUMUSHIKO", which are widely used in Japanese tea rooms and are also common in other architectural works in Kengo Kuma. But the difference is that Japanese people usually don't make bamboo screens that high: 4.6 meters, and the width and thickness of bamboo strips are 4 mm. Designers arrange bamboo strips at a distance of 6 mm and fix them on glued bamboo keels, and the bamboo strips are connected with the traditional tenon-mortise structure in China. And a single bamboo curtain can be hung on the ceiling through the track to form a wall continuously, and the bottom has a hidden ground lock fixed on the ground. Once the ground lock is opened, the screen can slide on the track at will.

Let's look at more screens:

The gap in the screen reduces the light, but at the same time keeps the air circulating, which is a great design. At night, the intervention of lights makes it look different.

The drama held by Hao Space: The Green Snake directed by the director, the teahouse and the living room are integrated, and the light and shadow are changing.

A scenic spot in the teahouse. Even if the space is narrow, it is necessary to create a sense of hierarchy.

Walnut antique bookcase, in which all tea sets are designed by Japanese masters, one of which is the work of Masayuki Kurokawa, a world-famous architect and industrial designer, made of iron.

Tea rooms can drink tea, taste incense or arrange flowers, while larger-scale activities need to be held in the exhibition hall.

At the entrance of the exhibition hall, the white curtain continues the meaning of the east and has a sense of permeability and ventilation.

Looking back at the entrance from the end of the exhibition hall. This is a small exhibition held in Miao Xiaochun a long time ago. There is no huge space in the art gallery and art space, but you can calm down and enjoy a painting.

Last one, Amway.

I try to express a space, a building and an atmosphere in a graphic way, but I have to say that only with the participation of the body can the value of space be properly displayed. I suggest you visit it yourself.

"No matter how big the world is, the soul must have a place to live." This is the building.
