Poggi's partner, named Kak, is a member of the shadow family. Because the filmmaker tried to assassinate the king of Bohai and was extinct, only he survived. Kak is the Ying family, and the Ying family is the imperial assassination group of Bo. Until one day, the film family somehow tried to assassinate the king of Bohai, so the film family was chased by soldiers of Bohai.

Kak's character design originated from the author's intention to pay tribute to Buck Bayard in Kitaro. Later, he realized that Carker's design was unconsciously influenced by the pride in The Iron Alchemist.
